    The guys just been looking at all his options which he has the right to do. If we have put in a decent offer to him and he accepts great. If not then we move on.

    Joe Ledley's contract expires with Cardiff at the end of the month.

    Were he to sign the other day we would most likely be charged a transfer fee. Where ever he goes it will be on July 1st. Hopefully us.

    During the next few days to week im expecting alot of activity with deals, positive or negative, now we have our manager sorted out, lets wait and see.
    It would of been foolish to announce players before we had got the manager done :)

    going stoke gutted should be in the paper in the morning .

    CARDIFF midfielder Joe Ledley is set to snub Celtic and sign a four-year deal with Stoke this week.


    The Wales ace is a free agent at the end of the month and Potters boss Tony Pulis has been trailing the 23-year-old since August 2008 when he had a £6million bid for the Bluebirds youth product rejected.

    Stoke will have to agree a compensation fee with the Bluebirds since Ledley is under 24.

    If the two clubs fail to agree a deal a tribunal will decide how much the Premier League club will have to cough up with Cardiff demanding £4.5m.

    Celtic also want Ledley and have offered the Welshman a £25,000 a-week deal but the 32-cap midfield dynamo is desperate to play in the Premier League.

    The move to the Britannia Stadium is expected to be rubber-stamped when Ledley returns from holiday in Portugal.

    Yup defo a poor move from this guy. Champions League Footie and sum medals in the SPL? or a Religation battle and hee haw after that? lol Enjoy urself Joe only thing you'll be competing in is which Stoke team mate can drink the most after a game instead of European football.

    Stoke came 11th hardly Religation battle, he will be playing v Chelsea , arsenal , man utd , lpool , etc , each season playing v them is just like us playing in the champs league ,
    We are no longer the massive draw we once was and thats a fact time fans wake up and see this , as for Champions League Footie , we aint even in the Champs league yet we might not even Qual again like last season , and yes we get into the Euopra league ,
    Can see why he would pick the prem over coming here the lads good enough to play in the prem and it will make him a better player ,

    i cant say im suprised stoke do play in the epl and given half a chance thats where the best players want to play but its a pishy move for him . he wont fit into stokes style of play. he wont win anything or play in europe basically he has no ambition. i could accept it if he was knocking us back for 1 of the top 6 but * STOKE. a bottom to middle of the league team. if the paper report turns out to be true u are a * mate .

    Disapointed in that one. Dont mind him wanting to play in the premiership but to join stok eother than Celtic is just pish. No offence but stoke dont even attept to play football. But good luck to him, just another one that will regret the day he knocked back the green and white hoops of Glasgow Celtic. When we are back we'll be playing champions league football and stoke will be playing championship football:icon_mrgreen:
