Joe Ledley signs for Celtic

Hope that he's good, £25k a week is massive money for our club to spend on a 22 year old.

It's another internationalist signing from Lenny for free, to match Du Ri.

I wonder where he will play in the team, he's more CM than a winger & is left footed - so I think he's going head to head with Ki Sung for a place in the team. Good competition, 2 young internationalists, probably playing alongside another one in Scott Brown.

Very good signing. So pleased to have him. Will def prove to be a great signing for the club. Will be interesting to see how the club lines up in America.

"It's been going on for a couple of weeks now.. I had a look around the place and fell in love with the club straight away..
I keep in touch with Bellamy and he said it's a great club to play for , Im looking forward to playing in front of 60,000.. Bellamy said I'll enjoy it up here..
Neil Lennon was a massive influence on me signing.. When I was younger I was on the left wing but the last three years I've been switched to the centre due to other players being injured..
Im only 23 and Celtic are a massive club.. It's the right time for me to move up and hopefully improve.. I enjoyed the friendlies with Celtic , The Celtic fans were brilliant there.. The players at Cardiff (Chris Burke , Ross McCormack) said Celtic is a great and massive club and that I'd enjoy it here..
I've had a look around at houses and am looking forward to moving here.. Hopefully we'll bring trophies to the club"..

Great news on Ledley.

I hope we don't sign Bullard - I think he'll be a bad influence. Plus his greed is astonishing for a player who let's face it is only slightly above ordinary!

 

Statement of intent from Lenny and the board to sign the best talent out there without * ourselves financially.

Hopefully since there was no fee involved that there's a little extra aside for a quality striker.
