    Lets face it, they believe (with justification) they can attack anyone connected with Celtic with impunity in this country.

    Yet all we get is Salmond etc bleating on about tackling "sectarianism and bigotry" nothing ever gets done.

    And just for the record, I like how you state that this was nothing to do with religion, and then claim it was about him being a Celtic player.....how do you know?
    Yes, it's a probability it was just a hun who did it because he was a Celtic player - but how many times have you heard of people being randomly punched, battered and stabbed out the town from totally random strangers?

    Someone just tweeted him asking what had happened and he explained and the last line said ''just the usual night out ha''. From this it could mean that he and the players are targeted every time they go out but its only been publicized this time? Don't know but there is no place for this in football, no matter what club the player plays for it just shouldn't happen. Scotland's shame strike again eh :38:

    The big problem is our justice system is a * joke, we let these * away with this so there is no consequences. Even if some jail time is given they get treated like funking royalty in the jail so are happy to inside for a bit. The sad truth is until we get a government in place that will grow a pair and treat these scumbags as they should be treated it will only get worse. We need a guy like this over here:-

    i think the case of the hearts fan that attacked lennon and got off has a bearing on this. what you have now is moronic idiots who know think that, attack a member of the celtic team and you have avery good chance of getting away with it and then becoming a hero to there hun freinds. in the long run the jurors in that case will regret that not proven verdict. so know we have a situation were any celtic staff member will not be safe to go into glasgow city centre on a night out with there family and freinds, and that is a sad day for the city of glasgow. i know it was, according to J.Ledley only a minor incedent but the next one it happens to might not be so lucky. makes me sick to my stomach. :47:
