He has to expect his experienced keeper to loose concentration and pass the ball directly into the path of an opposition player? No I don't think he does.

Hart was laughed at for howlers of this type, while he was in England. We knew what we were getting. It is Hart's fault, but it is also...predictable. Merits changing the playing style, or playing a GK who is good with the ball at his feet.

Hart needs loaded into a cannon and fired into the dark side of the moon.

    Start Siegrist this weekend.

I don’t think it’s harsh at all to want him dropped. I think he’s finished here to be honest.

    How?

Goalies always get a ton of focus when they cost a goal, for obvious reasons, and it was a * howler. But he still made several important saves that prevented the scoreline from being worse tonight. He's far far from finished.

Was anything he saved anything Siegrist wouldn’t have? He should’ve stopped Mudryk’s effort, the Juranovic OG was his fault and now this today. Even after his calamity pass he could’ve stuck his foot out to save the effort. There’s been more as well pointed out by other posters. He’s been largely * all season. Who could forget the AZ bollocks last year. Probably should save both we conceded against St Mirren too.

He’s also just never pulling off incredible saves as Gordon Boruc and Forster used to do constantly. We need better at Celtic and Siegrist deserves the chance to prove he can be that guy before we go hunting for someone in January/Summer.

Could he wrong but off top of my head I think that's his 1st mistake thats cost us a goal in the 16 months he's been here.

He's been solid and reliable so think calling for him to be dropped is over the top.

I don't necessarily think he fits the way Ange wants to play but don't think Siegrest does either.

Both barkas and bain do but they are both useless gks

Impossible to know, so not a valid argument. Hart did make those saves though.

Disagree he's been * all season. He's been solid and reliable for the vast majority of time he's been here. Siegrist, like any player, has to earn his spot in training first of all. If Hart gets dropped then I'll be delighted if he's out performed, but I don't see that happening.

Boruc and Forster didn't 'constantly' make wonder saves and both had plenty of clangers of their own when they played for us.

Don’t think he had much of an impact on the pitch last season, had a major one off it and was protected very well by CCV and Starfelt. Once they’re out the team he looks suspect but he’s always been ropey on the ball. To play this style you need a keeper who’s good on the ball

He does a job because he's good at reading the game and coming off his line/making himself big.

His reaction speed is shot though. Any shot with a bit of power and he's nowhere near it. He also kicks the ball like his legs are on backwards.

    Reminds me of Rab Douglas.

Hart is still in goals for me, I'm not a fan of chopping and changing goalkeppers everytime they go through a bad spell especially when the defence infront of him has been suspect as * of late.
CCV and starfelt will hopefully be returning soon and that will no doubt help everyone including hart.
Also thought he was having a good game up until the mistake.

I don't want him dropped but I do hope we are looking for a number 1 to replace him next season that suits our style of play better.

Yep, takes no accountability for it really and just says "mistakes will happen playing this way".

He did the exact same thing against Rangers. Kicked the ball straight to Arfield. Bizarre.

That's what the scouts are there for.

Refuse to believe there's not a few keepers out there who are within our budget and would be a step up on Hart. Ange wants to play out from the back and our keeper is poor at it. And as others have said, I don't feel like he makes up for it by pulling out worldie saves.

His biggest plus is his leadership and experience. But that only counts for so much.

Wow. Reading some of the comments on here tonight. The man made a mistake. Anyone who knows anything about football knows what a huge signing Hart has been for us. I’d go as far as to say we wouldn’t have won the league last year without him. On and off the pitch he has been different class. He’s not without his faults. But we knew this. And we can’t expect to have a a keeper without faults. You spend £60m quid for that privilege. It’s social media at its finest tonight.

You don't need to spend £60m for someone to know when a pass isn't on.

He's our most experienced player. He let us down big time tonight and deserves to be criticised for it.
