Glad I managed to avoid him last night.

I'm surprised nobody has had a word about it to him. Or maybe they have....

He was absolutely horrendous yesterday. Never shuts up and is droning as *.

Love the guy but he needs to stay off commentary.

It's like he is in an exam for his coaching badges, or being interviewed for a manager's job.

"Can you tell me about a time when you played at Champions League level and how it's a different level to other levels?"

"Can you give me an example of Daizen Maeda's workrate from a training session which others might not be aware of?

    "Don't not say turnover. Go."

He does have some decent things to say but * me, he doesn't shut up. Tone it down by 50% and he'd be decent.

He needs to learn the art of a dignified silence, rambles on too much.

Former Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart has opened up on his switch from playing football to commentating on the beautiful game.

The Englishman retired at the end of last season, going out on a high as he won a domestic double with Brendan Rodgers' side.

Since hanging up his gloves, Hart has turned his attention to the world of media and punditry.

He has been a regular co-commentator on Celtic's Champions League games so far this season and was once more in position when Bayern Munich visited Glasgow's east end on Wednesday night.

Hart is learning on the job and has even hilariously admitted that there are moments when he needs to zip it: "I'm new to this," he told TNT Sports

There are moments when I need to shut up. I think as a co-comm, the final third, you leave that to the main man, he'll tell the story as it unfolds. Often, my role will be to come in on replays and give an opinion on what's happened.

"There's lots going on and lots to get your head around, especially with me being new."

Hart has been, on the whole, a hit with most supporters when on commentary duty for Celtic games.

He provides a unique tactical insight from a goalkeeper's perspective and also knows the mental dynamic within the squad, having played with most of the players less than a year ago.

As anyone does in the early stages of starting a new job, however, the 37-year-old is constantly adapting and picking up new things: "It's an all-round experience," he said.

"I learned a lesson in the last game that I drank too much and I needed the toilet... it was a painful last 20 minutes!

"I was so mentally ready to be in this sort of role.

"I've just been learning on the job.

"Hopefully, I'm going to get better and better and improve as we go."

I enjoyed his commentary as always.
I'll also add I think rory hamilton is by far the best main commentator going right now on TNT or sky .
