New keeper was needed in the summer, everyone knew it.

He's done, and has been for a while.

I said to my son at the free kick today that his position was wrong.

He's a topic of discussion after every game.

He’s an absolute embarrassment dealing with crosses.

I know we don't really have anyone else, but I'd drop him.

He came in and steadied the ship after a disgraceful period of Goalkeepers but unfortunately, you’re going to have situations where he has a blinder, like he did on Wednesday and then a nightmare in the same week.

Just another example of the failed recruitment and vision of this football club.

Catch the * ball eh mate, please. I’m begging ye Joe, sometimes it’s easier and you manage to manipulate your arms pretzel like into the most pressure inducing terrifying punched clearances I’ve ever seen.

See the positioning with that, I can remember Boruc, Forster, Gordon all doing that. I think that’s Stevie Woods, because after us they’ve reverted to a more central position.

Harts an experienced as *, 36 year old keeper with over 70 caps, 50 CL games, won leagues at the highest level and has a wealth of experience in the game. If it is a Woods thing, he should be saying naw I’m not leaving that amount of space because if it’* decent and accurately, he will not be getting there

He's seriously bad, not just the ball punching the speed he moves his feet at is ridiculously slow, glued to his line at corners the starfishing the list goes on and on and it was obvious last season as well and we went with it again this season

We have all given him some leeway because he is genuinely a good guy however, we want to win games and it's clear he just isn't good enough now. His fear of catching high balls results in him making an * of him trying to punch the ball clear and I think he should have done better at their free kick today

That punch away when Shankland was brushing off him at best was absolutely pathetic and summed up the state of our performances of late.

One was chest height he somehow managed to try and punch away, putting us under pressure.

I know it’s the modern approach that goalkeeper coaches prefer to make keepers prefer to do - Ben Forster does a good bit on it in his podcast, because the ball is generally slippier to hold onto year on year in his experience (they started putting vaseline on gloves to counter it because that somehow works apparently, ironically Joe Hart being a pioneer of that in the Premiership)

But Hart does it regardless, every * time, when its not even feasible and easier to just catch.

Why does he constantly punch with his weaker hand?

Said it before but questions need to be asked of Woods. Been here about 15 years and struggle to think of many keepers he's made better.

Forster is only 1 but in all honesty he was more of a good signing than 1 he developed. Forster was probably always likely to be a top keeper with or without Woods. And even then he had weaknesses in his game that were never improved upon such as his ability with his feet

Why do all our keepers * it to come for a ball

is it Stevie woods making them stay on the line?

Sit behind the goal and were loads of folk screaming at him to move to his left. Bad day when supporters can see it and he cant.

Similar to Feyenoord free kick and Griffiths 1 at hampden. Given his reputation of being weak on his left hand side it's bizarre that he sets himself up that way but again as iv already said gk coach has to be looked at for that too

Exactly. Hart has been finished for a while. Apparently the only people not to realise this were the Celtic coaching team.
