Near decrepit in his reaction time.

That dive and fumble was Gordon Marshall like and that saying something and if we go into the season with hart then I fear the worst as well as new defenders needed .

Sad but that’s what happens. Happened to Broony and Lustig. Great servants but time catches up

I really like Joe but he looks like a retired player that's been asked to come in for a legends game. It's time for a new starting keeper.

Best try and replace Hart now while he's still here, so if it goes * up we have a passable keeper to fall back on. We waited ages to replace Gordon, got an amazing loan with Forster and after that we were *. He went back to Southampton and Gordon went to Hearts. We were left with Bain and Hazard, who at best were 3rd choice and we brought in Barkas who was worse than both of them. If we wait until next year our back ups will be Siegrist and Bain if things go sour.

A new keeper should be a priority for us. The signs have been there for a while now that Joe won't do anymore and it's only going to get worse unfortunately.

He could be 90 but i’d still get on the phone to big Forster

On 75k a week to be Spurs 2nd choice. That's where a big problem lies, some teams will pay big money to have a good keeper as back up if they need it. Some good keepers who would definitely be good enough for us in Europe are just bench warmers. He might be 3rd choice depending on if Lloris stays around to finish his contract which is 100k a week.

Your time is up as number 1 Joe, put the gloves away while you still have some credibility.

Worth an ask, he’s obviously not going to be skint and needing the cash. I’d even have him back on loan, he was reportedly on 90k per week with Southampton whilst on loan with us

If we don't get a new number 1 before the start of the season we're in trouble.

We are going to need one in a year regardless, there's money there so it makes absolutely no sense to wait. I'd prefer Siegrist start ahead of him at this point, at least there's some degree of unknown there with him.

That first goal today was genuinely one of the most Sunday league things I’ve ever seen.

The Celtic backline were guilty of some calamitous defending against the J League challengers – and keeper Joe Hart was to blame for gifting Marinos an early opener. Rodgers refused to hammer the shot stopper – but also stopped short of giving any assurances the former England star would be his no.1 this season.

There have been questions surrounding Hart’s place with Celts linked with several keepers in the last couple of weeks. And Rodgers insisted he’s still to make his mind up over a number of positions.

He said: “It’s a period of the season where we’re only a few weeks in and assessing where we’re at. We could have been better for the first goal before it got to Joe 25 yards out and there’s a player turning within our organisation. But we made a number of mistakes for the goals that we gave away. “I’m assessing everything at the moment.”
