Disappointed with the goal, got beat at his near post and the goal kick as well.

Needs to cut this out of his game pronto, there was absolutely no need to try and rush that by kick at all with the score line.

I reckon he does the goal kick ‘miss-kick’ deliberately to get an opposition player booked.

He’s always very calculated with his passes.

Think he should have saved the goal, went over his hand, was like he was a 5’9” goalie.

Seen his finger tips of the glove being close to it on the replay , but in real time you can't blame him , it was a rocket , very good goal and if it was one of our players scoring that there would be an orgy of delight.

1 clean sheet in the last 11 games Hart has played. That includes the last 10 straight without a single clean sheet. The last time he kept one was the 4-0 Sevco game.

Not saying all of that is entirely on him, but that is a worry. I can't even begin to remember the last time there was a run of that many games without at least 1 clean sheet.

I didn’t see it as a rocket first time around and thought maybe I’m being unfair. But on second viewing I’m not changing my first thought that he should have done better.

Pretty good save in 1st half though taz with the 1 on 1

He has had a few mistakes but I can't blame him for the goal.

I say it from a view that it wasn’t a gimme of a save, but at this level it is a save that should be made otherwise we’ll never win.

Oh, an not saying he isnt a good keeper, or that he hasnt made some good saves along the way in the course of that run. And as I noted, not putting all of that entirely on his shoulders, but that is a run that I am struggling to find the equal of in the recent history (ie the last 20-odd years) of the club.... and who knows how far back? To Macari? Brady? Beyond? :39: This happened semi-regularly in the late 1940's but hopefully am not having to trawl through 70 years of records to try and unearth a similiar run or results, and whether all of those were by the same 'keeper...

Decent keeper, but the way we play (super open, no protection for the back line), a decent keeper isn't enough to keep goals out.

Nah I don’t blame him for not saving it , the pace on it plus the dip made it near on impossible

I really like him as a guy but as a keeper he is not irreplaceable and it is a position i’d like us to strengthen in. We all know how influential Forster and Boruc where to us in Europe. Good scouting is all it takes, Benfica paid less than 500k for Ederson for example.

I'd say a top qaulity young keeper would save that. Reactions at that age are a split second faster. The shot wasn't far to the side. A keeper with top reactions saves that. He's got experience but his age stops saves like that.

I dont think any keeper in our price range would save that. It's a stunning finish tbh, and Hart had a good game with a couple cracking saves.

He have been immense for us, and i am actually quite shocked that there seem to be many doubting his ability? I get Taz argument, but keeping clean sheets in this sacrificing system we play is extremely hard even for teams like Man City. We create lots but we will also concede much more unless we land a absolutely incredible defensive midfielder in January. And even then, we will still be more open in the back unfortunately, but if we take our chances, it will be worth it.

Needs replaced for next CL campaign.

Could have came for the first and avoided us conceding a pen. Dived for both pens before they were even taken. Asensio’s finish was right down the middle as well.

Pish with the baw at his feet and doesn’t have enough of those massive game changing moments that Forster did.

Really isn’t the answer we are looking for. Time for a reality check and bring in someone that you can rely on

Again, should be claiming that in his 6 yard box.
