Exactly the kind of point I was making, mate, and if anyone is to blame for Cardiff being relegated it's that muppet of a chairman they have....not a guy who only played once for them.

I haven't seen any of Berget in all honesty so I can't comment on how good/bad he is, but, like any player that signs for Celtic, I'll reserve judgement for when he plays for us, and hopefully Deila WILL play him and it's not another Miku situation.

 

Smart move by the club - loaned for half a season, if it works out then great - sign him up. If he doing alright then extend the loan another 6 months, if he's * then he's gone by January.

Hopefully he's a great player and he's signed up by January... then again he could be another Miku!

 

Sutton wasn't the only player branded a dud who went on to play well henke wasn't pulling up trees before we signed him henry was a winger who said he couldn't score goals. I welcome this guy and all others I trust the managers judgement as has been said he knows him we don't hate reading this bs about someone elses cast offs or he only played for .... in that league .....

 

Don't know anything about this guy, we'll just need to trust the managers judgement.

 

I really want Jo Inge and every player we sign to succeed, but i am struggling with this signing.

If you look at his goal scoring record in Norway with Molde and Stromsgodset, it's about 1 every 4 games. Stokes' is around 1 in 2, Teemu's is better than 1 in 4 with us and was about 1 in 4.5 games with Schalke, Balde's was 1 in 3 in Portugal and has fallen to 1 in 7 with us ( mostly subs), while Thumb has always been about 1 every 2 games, no matter who he's played for.

So other than a squad player, just don't know why we've signed him......However hope the bhoy is a sensation. He has 6 months to prove his worth.

 

So what do you propose? A ban on signings until we see if he is any good. I am sure you have a much better knowledge of the player from FIFA and youtube.

 

Poor signing, selling a great young player, who we own!, for some diddy most of us haven't heard from! Poor show celtic, wasn't sure about ronny from the start but now really don't expect much. He's a hypocrite, saying he plans to develop young players and also has faith in the current squad, clearly. however if this is the boards doing then I fear where we are heading if 1.2 million is getting our knickers wet. Sad day for fans who actually want to see progress at the club

 

What a lot of nonsense, give the boy a chance. Most good players we have had in recent months years most of us hadn't heard of.

I agree with a lot of that but why join today with that username if you feel that way towards Ronny?

Baring in mind that I am very disappointed in Ronny also regarding this utter farce.

 

I don't see why everyone is so negative about this signing. Clearly Deila knows him a lot more than we do and its not to say we spent big money on him and he signed a 5 year contract. He's a loan signing so it's a low risk signing, no need to panic

 

Ambrose, Wanyama, VVD, Izzy had you heard of these guys before they joined us? ffs get behind the guy instead of joining the forum just to slag him off

 

The short loan setup tells me even Ronny is sceptical about this player. I fail to see the point in bringing him.

We don't even know what this guy will cost us in jan if celtic want to keep him.
What if he does well and the price is 4 million...does that suddenly make him a good signing.
