Seems like a less talented Samaras.

 

The amount of chances he got down the left wing and wasted was amazing if samaras had been there he would have done something with the ball.

 

Remember when Berget had a good game, and everybody said "we can't judge a player on one game?"

Of course, one poor game and suddenly he's the worst player ever to wear the hoops. I'd point out that he was better than most of our players last night - not that that's much of an achievement.

 

Gads a * man.

Can't believe our own supporters are actually accepting this kind of hopeless dog * player in the hoops.

The guy is useless and has not one single decent thing about his game.

Away and sit in the corner and have a think to yourselves ffs.

As I said in the other thread, it's the way they were comfortable leaving their FB one on one with him that was most disappointing. Whatever his faults, even the best teams in Europe didn't dare leave their FB one on one against Sammy.

 

Sammy on his day puts Berget to shame out on the left wing, no doubt about that.

 

In no way does he have anything in common with Samaras. He can't beat a player, he can't run, he can't put a decent ball into the box, he doesn't pose any threat going forward, he doesn't do anything defensively. The similarities end at having long hair. You're comparing apples and oranges.

We traded Samaras for Boerrigter and Berget. * me. What an astonishing lack of ambition.

 

Has he actually bet a man since he signed, Sammy puts him to shame and Sammy had better hair this * looks like he has an onion or a pumpkin on his head :smiley-laughing002:

 

Why do you compare him with Samaras? Bergets best position is in the middle behind the strikers. Last night when Berget was substituted the team fell apart. They didn't create anything on the left side after that. He didn't have a good game, but he was surely not the only one.

And to call players on your team *, is really low.

 

He ran and ran and ran and ran and ran...

And didn't do a thing with it.

To be fair to him I don't think he is a winger but I'm still not sold on him yet.

 

5 out of ten in every department....passenger.

 

He's an average player who had a bad game yesterday. He works hard, you can see that. At least he takes some initiative and looks to try to do things. But like I said its unfortunate he is just very average.

Berget is getting too much abuse I think, there was at least 5 or 6 worse players than him last night

 

Embarrassingly average but one of many unfortunately.

I cant see for the life of me , what he contributes on the left wing, there were worse players than him, izzy ambrose mullgrew and possibly stokes. But he doesnt look celtic class.

 

LooKed like some * dragged him oot the pub and threw him in that team.

 

Send him back to Cardiff ASAP.

 

I think he did more than Sammy defensively but that's where my disagreement ends.
Even there, they wouldn't have left Sammy isolated against their FB like they did Berget. Of course I can be and often am wrong, but I feel as sure of the following as I do of anything: if we'd had Sammy last night instead of Berget, we'd have got goals against that team.

 

Thought he done naw bad superised with a lot of stuff on here.

Mulgrew, efe, johansen and I would even say stokes were worse imo even the first 2 were at fault for the goal
