In Bergets case, this might not be such a bad idea.

Just watched the recording. Good brace and good positioning, long may it continue. WELCOME!:50:

Looked good when he came on and played through the middle on Wednesday and built on that with a good performance on the left today. It will be interesting to see how he does as the season moves along. There certainly looks to be a good player there. Did we agree a price with Cardiff if we decide we want to buy him permanently?

This. We still haven't seen anywhere near enough of him to really judge him.

scored two but I still thought his finishing was pretty poor. He seemed to sky a lot of shots and not catch a lot of volleys correctly.

The distinctive Viking hair in long-sleeved hoops, it's a great look. Physical and tough enough for the SPL, deserves a chance in Europe. Celtic and Jo Berget are a good fit just now.

Strikes me as a slow, less technical but harder working Samaras...

Brilliant today Berget, decent first touch and his positioning and link up play looks decent. Should've scored a hattrick aswell.

I've taken to him already. He isn't even 100% fit yet either, could be another coup for the club, early days but signs are good. Technically good, supports the striker from the wing, strong to cope with the physicallity of the league.

Loved his celebration for the first goal. I'm going to say it again as well but the viking look is * quality:56:

He looks as though he will play everywhere across the front but his natural position is down in most places as attacking midfield.

I agree. Hasn't done anything special but he is fast becoming one of my favourite players for no apparent reason. He also seems to be trying to get in on the little flicks and one twos that Stokes/Commons/McGregor enjoy playing around the box which is promising.
