Brilliant from the big man. Adds something that has been missing up-front.

Impressive home debut. Thought he was a lot better in the second half.

I'll defo praise him for that, great movement to beat the offside trap and a cracking powerful shot. Unlucky it was 3 inches too high.

As with a lot of our players though i'm not really sure where his best position is and where we should accomodate him?

Thought he dipped in and out the game too much in the first half but was more assured in the second and was certainly one of our main threats. Could well have played himself into the team for Wednesday.

I like how he tucks in and gets close to Stokes. That helps Stokes massively and also allows Izzy to charge up and down the wing.

He takes up good positions in the box and hallelujah he looks like he can head the ball as well. :smiley-laughing002:

I hope he plays up front on his own, wed night. I hope we play 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1. Need to be tight away from home. Hope Ronny and Collins realise 4-4-2 is too open away in Europe for us. Hopefully, much more to come from the young man.

Looked good today but lets be honest much stiffer tests ahead- he does look as though in the league he has the ability to do a good job. But I think hes somewhere in between the hysteria of his performance against legia and his good performance today. Time will tell.

We haven't played 4-4-2 under Ronny so I can't see why that would change on Wednesday

Looks like he will get a lot of goals.

Will fit in Samaras' position on the left quite well if he plays like today

    Had a really good game..

Weird one berget as he doesn't look a natural winger or off the striker and sometimes looks a bit slow and a player with a * touch, then other times he looks flash, shows nice flicks and is.invokved in everything..

I think he'll grow on us on todays showing..

Awesome today. Hopefully he can gain the confidence he needs to build on this. Has got the potential of being a great player for us!

on todays showing looked better than i ever thought he would be, going by the leek growers who claimed he was complete pish, should never have played in Poland tho, but he should start against Maribor, he can hold the ball up well and would probably be a better option 1 up than stokes, pukki ect

What would Cardiff fans know about good players?

Don Cowie and nuggets like that were playing for them :smiley-laughing002:

Still haven't figured out what this guy's natural position is but he's showing some promise. Looks like a really good header of the ball.

Played well today, first touch and hold up play was excellent. He is a different type of player than Commons and McGregor in he will be used more to hassle the defence and play those two in on goal but even with doing that he grabbed a couple himself so great from him today.

So nice to have someone who can support the striker without spending 80% of the game lying on the grass checking his hair.
Hope its a sign of many things to come from our manager.
