I for one agree that this lad aint here to replace Watt. Do the doubters really think RD would make his first move for a player a bad one, I think not.
I can't see him being played as a striker, Griffiths was tried out wide and was not as effective as he is through the middle. I see this lad playing wide ( right ) and Griffiths going back to the middle to fight for his place.
Commons is a tad slow but he brings plenty more to the table to deserve his place, he might get pushed out to the left a bit more.
That leaves either Pukki, Stokes or Griffiths to fight for the 2 places up front, 1 striker, 1 playing off him.
    Thats my take anyhoo.

This is what I think as well, he's been brought in to replace Griffiths on the right.

Lots of people had Matthews on the right in their line ups for the Warsaw game tomorrow which showed that we lacked a player that could play there. Ronny obviously thinks the same as a lot of us (that Griffiths isn't effective on the right) and has brought in this guy to do the job.

    Nice one Ronnie :50:

Had he came straight from Molde everyone would likely be wanking their pans in to this news.

    Good luck Jo.

    :50::50:Agreed.
Yea it seems some people think we should be competing for Rodriguez or Suarez or the like.

Let the guy pull his boots on FFS before condemning him !!

I remember a certain Mr Moravcik was seen as a "has been / stop gap" signing by some and he became a legend.

Wee bit of patience , trust in the Manager, common sense and support required guys !!

    welcome jo.

i have to say, of the 3 norwegians on cardiffs books he would have been my 3rd choice to sign but the more i think about it, the happier i am with the signing.

ronny knows him well and what he will bring to the team. his record isnt incredible, but if he helps improve the all-round performance of the team then that doesnt really matter.

any cardiff fan that has said he is useless is talking out their *, because they havent seen enough of him to pass that kind of judgement.

anyone who thinks ronny is a hypocrite for signing a loan player needs to get a grip. in all likelihood, ronny wanted him in permanently but the board/JP werent sure - i can imagine ronny being reluctant to back down and the deal that has been agreed was a compromise for both sides. its a risk free deal and helps ronny put his own stamp on the team, which people should be happy with

He's looked OK the couple of times I've seen him play for the NT. I'll reserve judgement until he gets a run in the team. If this guys name was Juan Ignacio Beregetto and he was from Argentina or Brasil or something and not Norway, I bet the reaction to his signing would be different. Some of the same boys slagging him when they have never even seen him play would be wanking themselves into a stupour

I don't really understand the negativity regarding him. It's a 5 month loan. What could go wrong?

I'm sure some people would be happier seeing us spend £10m on Keith Lasley.
