Id take him, he'd be great to have in the squad. Dont worry about his age, whod heard of him 10 years ago?

People are talking about his age, he is actually younger than Frank Lampard, plus we could do with an old in the team. If he can stay fit he will be great.

He would be flat sharing with Maloney, that would make life easier for the doctor anyway.

If he wasn't so injury prone I would say yes everyday of the week. Just not worth the risk for the money we would be paying him.

Too old, too injury prone, too expensive (for what he'll offer). We need to be looking to the future rather than signing fading "stars".

    Those famous words.

These are the players we only seem to be signing, and when do you ever see them break through?

Try and name me some from this season, or even last season. And not just a few games, a young player that has broke through and held a consistant place in the team.

Only one i can think of is Josh Thompson, and his is more due to injurie problems. Maybe even Niall McGinn at a push.

Jimmy Bullard would be a great signing, why are people saying hes to old? hes younger than Frank Lampard, anyways don't say '' why are comparing him with Lampard '' I am only comparing their age.

A TM type of signing where everything is geared towards attack but we need someone with a backbone to come into the team which makes me believe that Bullards name won't be on any lists of targets.. I couldn't see him complimenting any midfielder in our team anyway..

Bullard is like who brown could be like , if brown was good.
He is very popular down south and Is a very complete midfielder. His Passion and drive are amazing AND he can pass, maybe not with crosas vision but unlike brown it does get to the target. He plays the simple passionate game incredibly well, and he tracks back and defends very well. If we can knock his wages down he would be an absolute steal.

we only want him on loan for a season. Wonder what the future holds for Brown, now that we are going for 2 central midfielders. Could be why he was so worked up last night.

It seems that our manager(which we dont have:fear:) is looking to buy experience and leadership which is a good move in my books as it is something that has been missing since the clown got rid off Robson(who should be the currant captain of celtic)
