he can but i doubt he would. you're underestimating the greed of modern day footballers and i'm sure he can find a club that will give him £60,000 a week and regular football, we cant

he's available on a free in the summer so a club like blackburn could pay that, i'd say mc carthy and santa cruz get similar wages to that

would be a good signing but id seriously doubt we can afford his wages, i dont know how much he's on but a top 4 epl pays its fringe players more than we pay our top earners

no chance of this happening now he missed out on real because he wants to much wages

Football news, live scores, and results - ESPN Soccernet

Pennant: Reportedly demanded double what Real offered.
Reports suggest that Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant has narrowly missed out a sensational move to Real Madrid - by demanding too high a wage from the Spanish giants. The 25-year-old former Arsenal and Birmingham winger reportedly wanted £60,000-a-week, while Real were only willing to pay him half that amount.

Pennant's wages were too high for Real Madrid, who have spent literally hundered of millions on players over the last few years.

What do you reckon of our chances then?
