    i may be wrong but i think i read he's on £60,000 a week, too much for us.

    about the car crash bit, apparently he'd driven over a lampost and it was stuck under the car but he continued driving along trailing it behind the car, must have been absolutely plastered:icon_mrgreen:

    ffs! I stated I knew nothing about the lad and was commenting on what was said. * is * no matter who you play for. Shevchenko and keane could hardly be classed as that by any stretch of the imagination.

    Oh and bye the way you left out Sutton who wasn't too hot with Chelsea, but had already proved himself with blackburn. great for us!!

    Sometimes it's how a manager utilises a player, I wonder what Strachan will do for Pennant. Make him a Ghod or Dusty bin?

    If we lose Nakamura and McGeady then this is a player we should definitely be interested in. Could we aford the wages? He also might be a bit too arragant to play in the SPL.... Certainly has the ability and is younger than I thought he'd be...

    He would be a good signing he has pace, hits the bye line and puts in good crosses. I would rather see Mcgeady and Maloney on the flanks though! Or we could make an offer for Jimmy Bullard he wants to leave fulham, we can give him champions league football, trophies and he could also go and fish in loch lomond!

    Well arent the rest of us glad your not the manager. Most of us are calling for the progress of our youth set up. I look forward to caddis/mizuno/hutchinson etc getting games for the first team to aid their progress/personal development.

    Mizuno looks a good player/prospect, just remember falkirk was his first full debut for celtic and he done pretty well.

    It is reported that Celtic are planning to take Liverpool’s Jermaine Pennent over to Scottish Premier League during the January transfer window.
    According to The Mirror, Gordon Stratchan have lodged a £3m bid for the out-of-favour winger.
    Pennant, who has 6 more months left on his contract, snubbed moves to Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers in the summer and Liverpool are desperate to cash in.

    I know we like to say we're the biggest and best club in the world, but lets get a reality check here.

    He's struggling at Liverpool because they are one of the biggest and best clubs in the world, and the standard of opposition is too high for him. But in the SPL he'd run a mock.

    This fella is a really good player.Very quick and tricky with superb crossing ability.He's a good old fashioned right winger though and I think it'd be a waste to play him on his opposite wing if we signed him like Strachan prefers to do.Anything under 2.5m-3m would be a good deal.
