It’s criminal that he’s not being coached properly.

He’d be * frightening if he had even a decent final ball.

Teams will end up leaving him open to cross the ball and flooding the middle and taking away our only outlet just now.

His final ball is * = he’s not being coached properly so it’s Lenny’s fault shock horror :56::56::56:

Or he’s a teenage full back who will get better in time. Take yer pick.

He lacks composure in the final third, that comes with time - not coaching.

His energy gets him places others won't make but definitely has a lot of growing up to do in terms of defensive duties and crossing the ball. That is definitely something his coaches need to work on.

On the other hand saying he is only 19 says he shouldn't be in the team as he's not old enough. Edouard was how old when we bought him? Not having (too much of) a go but it is a two-edged sword.

He needs to start adding to what he has, as without El Hamed to fill in the fixture gaps, there are more obvious (and coachable) gaps apparent in his play.

Who said he shouldn’t be in the team? Eddy had deficiencies in his game at 19 as well which came with time, composure ironically being one of them. You’ve made my point for me.

Said it a loads now, composure in the final 3rd is the thing he needs to work on the most, which is the most difficult thing to attain/coach.

It’s not just Lennon it’s the lot of them. Which is why Kennedy was talking to him after the game. Lennon isn’t even that hands on with coaching.

Composure and decision making do come with time, but there has to be proper coaching in order to fully develop the player, and maxamise their ability.

Can only assume given the replies that someone has said composure/decision making/final ball doesn’t come from coaching.

Must be the resident stalker still following me around every thread lol.

Frimpong will be a class player, he isn’t lacking coaching being at Celtic.

Kennedy talking to him after the game a sure fire sign of it.

There’s far better coaches out there than Gavin Strachan and John Kennedy. Lennon isn’t even a coach for me he’s a manager.

He’s not being held back here but he’d benefit from better coaching in terms of how quickly he develops. That’s just a fact.

How would you know how good Kennedy and Strachan were at coaching? :97:

You honestly think Kennedy and Strachan are the best we can do coach wise, considering the absolute dross we’ve paid to watch for about 3 months now?

I think Kennedy has his strengths as a coach. I don’t see what Strachan has brought to the table since he’s came in apart from a laptop.

I have no idea of their capabilities as coaches other than they are both highly thought of from within the game.

Same as every other assistant manager and coach we’ve had my entire time as a Celtic fan.

I can only go on how we've looked as a team since Strachan has came in. Utter *..

The fact his annoying * of a da was refusing to answer question's about our tactics at half time and kept side stepping what he thought was going on...was very telling and infuriating at the same time..

Anyone can see he was just yes man winging it with Currie..

Even Messi had things to work on aged 19, Frimpong has been one of the few positives from this season. Give the guy a break ffs.

Jerry will eventually get that final ball dimension to his game, he is still developing.
Well they are not very good in my book when they sit and look at our set piece taking and no one goes "hold on a minute, I reckon we need to take action here". Set pieces is a basic simple coaching duty and we have failed for years, so I do question coaches ability.
