    Pretty sure Vossen didn't score until about December, which somewhat skews the stats.

    Anyway, they don't tell the full story. By all accounts, he would be a very good signing.

    This is completely irrelevant.

    Put daryl murphys stats in there too and see how they stack up against both of them. Pretty sure they'll beat hoopers and vossens in every way...doesn't mean we should be signing murphy though, does it?

    From what I recall, vossens stats for Europe are immense compared to hoopers.

    Why are you comparing him to Hooper? Vossen's valued at £2m. We sold Hooper for £5m.

    2009-10 - 8 in 21 (Cercle Brugge finished 11th)
    2010-11 - 20 in 37 (Genk finished 1st)
    2011-12 - 20 in 36 (Genk finished 3rd)
    2012-13 - 17 in 32 (Genk finished 5th)
    2013-14 - 12 in 38 (Genk finished 6th)

    His record in the Belgian top flight is very good. There's no two ways about it.

    Not to mention how well Daryl Murphy's doing in the Championship. It's an odd league.

    Vossen goal scoring record is impressive in a league with probably a better standard throughout it than the SPFL.

    He still done well enough in the Championship coming into a team and having to bed himself in straight away.

    At £2 Million its a deal we have to be looking at and I think he would be a success.

    I honestly don't see any actual credible links to us after looking around. The general feeling is that he enjoyed his time at Middlesbrough and is basically waiting to see if they want to take him back on a permanent deal, which they'd be mental not to considering the money being asked for and his record at the club last season.

    2010-11 4 goals (Europa League - he scored two in a 7-2 aggregate loss to Porto)
    2011-12 - 5 goals (Champions League - Genk didn't win a game; Vossen was their only goalscorer; he scored against Bayer Leverkusen and Chelsea)
    2012-13 - 4 goals (Europa League)
    2013-14 - 5 goals (Europa League)

    I can't find how many games he played in those campaigns.

    Edit: He actually scored 4 in 2012-13
