    Only quote I've seen is from Genks manager saying he's still their player, so clearly no agreement has been reached.
    That said, if he'd prefer second tier of overrated football land over winning titles and European football (not to mention living in burnley FFS) then good luck to him!

    They are only getting £2m for arguably their star player and we got that for a second choice RB with a year left on his deal.

    I hope we get the lad but if he personally chooses living in Burnley over playing in the CL and winning trophies then we're better off without him.

    Benefit of the doubt though to assume he may be on his way here.

    I don't even think we were in it to begin with. We haven't put a bid in.

    That's the annoying thing really because of we did bid for him and it got accepted, I think we'd have a very good chance of bringing him in

    The fact we've already signed two players kinda goes against that statement.

    Maybe Celtic looked at the fact that he had a very average season last season and aren't overly interested in him.
