I think it can be safely said he is not a left back, his spatial awareness and football intelligence is not up to the mark.

I'm leaning towards not keeping him on, giving his age and wage demands.

Me too, after initial feel good factor. If not, then we need to have another target lined up.

I would love to keep him and he would be great as a sub for us but at that age its hard to play 40+ games per season obviously.

We're bringing in KT, he ain't gonna be our lb.

I do agree he could maybe be used in midfield.

He's been a good inclusion in our hour of need but for the wage he's on I'd want him to firm up my stomach, make the dinner and walk the dog too! To remain at the club and continue drawing that kind of money when we could achieve the addition of a good natural LB as back-up for KT much cheaper seems bizarre. Maybe once we finally clinch the league (mathematically) give him a run in midfield and see what he can bring there. But at the moment the costings could cover a couple of signings more than good enough for our league. Who knows he could become what we're missing at the minute so give him a go, (it might spur some of our missing midfield back to life as well for the remainder of the season). But the wage must come down or it's 'toodle pip' and thanks ever so...:bye1:
