bothroyd went down hill after his call up, plane and simple to see was a shadow of the player he was

Kris does do all these things, if the shots didnt go in we would all be saying the same things! There were a couple of games at the end of the season were i thought he was in a huff about something and all he did was moan and fall over. Think it may have been when he was being played on the right.

If that is what his own fans think of him then we need to listen to them. But one said he was good for 2 and a half years, so if Jay will give us 1 or 2 good seasons and he is FREE then i dont see why we wouldnt look to get him in if he is great on his day.

I would have him in to replace Sammy and get either a big striker or quick striker in to replace Murphy.

 

No thanks. Samaras is a far better player with a better attitude.

 

Samaras is terrible and his lazy attitude is worse

 

Haven't seen him play much so can't really comment but in Lenny I trust. If the lad signs he'll be supported! Simples!

 

Some people amaze me. Samaras is more talented than Bothroyd as well as being faster, stronger and better in the air. Don't know how people can accuse samaras of being lazy, he's always putting a shift in. I think people look at his languid style and his long hair and assume he's lazy. I * hate scotland's culture sometimes.

 

Samaras is lazy sometimes and other times he puts in a good shift but he certainly has a hopelessly fragile mentality that continues to hold him back and he seems incapable of improving upon.

 

Bothroyd > Samaras.

 

We'll soon find out. I think Samaras is far better. Those, rightfully, accusing samaras of being mentally fragile aint seen nothing till they've watched bothroyd.

 

Samaras > Bothroyd.

Bothroyd probably > Stokes.

Samaras however doesn't play well in a 4-4-2, Stokes does.

 

Personally, I think Bothroyd will flourish with our team spirit and the celtic fans behind him. He has produced consistently excellent form in the past that has tended to tail off. I agree though, in the games I saw towards the end of the season, his attitude was infuriating. in my opinion, though, he's still a far better bet than Samaras. I very much doubt if we would ever win the title with Sammy as a regular from the start of the season.
