CQN is almost as worse as the Daily Record with scoops - it's been exposed as pish many times.

Would he come back in form of another loan?

I think it would be even stupid to not sell VVD if we had Boyata, Denayer and maybe even the croatian kid. VVD is better than them all but then the 10 million quid we would get from him would become more useful.

If VVD stays while Denayer comes back though, could be interesting moving VVD to the position of defensive midfielder. And I know Ronny doesnt like tactical variation but I could see this team really working fine with a 3-5-2 or 3-6-1 too. Would also solve the problem of the vulnerability in the wings, more precisely in the left wing.

during the man city - everton game yesterday the sky commentators were listing the man city centre halves and poor jason didn't even get a mention. even martin demichellas got a mention before him.

    he's an afterthought in england.

Read earlier today Galatasary are after him. Surely he'd rather come back to us than go to Turkey? The standard of that league can't be much better than SPFL.

Galatasaray, Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor. Much higher standard.

Not really. Turkey is a stunning country, he'll be we'll paid, it's a great footballing environment and they have great fans with a great atmosphere. It quite competitive too. He'd learn alot there. Sad but more likely.

It's a higher standard of football, no doubts. I'd say the weather would be a bigger factor than the place being 'stunning'.

If it were based on how much scenery the place has then Scotland wins hands down. And we don't border some absolute war torn shiteholes into the bargain.

Breaking news: Denayer sey for Turkish move..
Manchester City stopper Jason Denayer has pitched up in Turkey ahead of a proposed move to Galatasaray.
The Belgian international, who spent last season on loan at Celtic, is expected to sign a season-long loan deal with the Turkish champions after falling down the pecking order at the Etihad after the arrival of Nicolas Otamendi from Valencia.

It is. I watched a fair bit of the Turkish Super Lig last season and the standard surprised me. Lesser known sides like Başaksehir & Mersin can play some really nice stuff. Honestly don't think it's far off bettering the Eredivsie.
