Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying a new Cb wouldn't be good i'm just making the point that, in my opinion, a striker would be better.

A new CB would take time to form a partnership with another CB which would lead to many mistkaes until they became comfortable, we can't afford that at this stage of the season.

 

I would be confident of Mulgrew and Wanyama at the back.

 

We definitely need a cb in this window Maj and Loovens cant be trusted tbh there pish and also big kelvin wilson doesnt fill me with much confidence at the back either. Wamyama and Mulgrew are our best combination at cb but wanyama has to play cm due to lose of kayal.Get it sorted lenny.

Not filled with optimism at this after reading all the Polish Bhoys thoughts on the guy. Just have to wait and see how he fits in here though. Maybe a return to the 3-5-2 next season with Izzy and Lustig/Matthews as wing backs ?

 

I trust John park over anybody on here, and the bhoy will only be judged by me once he has a run of games in the hoops.

I agree with you that it is a strange signing but I disagree that he is your third best defender, granted I've only watched Slask maybe five times but the other defender(can't remember his name starts with a p I think) struck me as a bomb scare. Celeban is better than Fojut imo but i think Fojut is better than your third string centerback.

We'll see whether or not it works out. Could come good. When I heard we had signed Kayal, I said who? When I heard we had signed Izzy, I said who? Same again with Ledley and Hooper.

I did know who Cha and Maj were from their good stints on international duty in Europe and at the WC.

Many would say the guys from that bunch that I had never heard of turned out much better than the ones I had heard of.

 

He's free, a decent age, and we're losing quite a few of our centre-backs in the summer (Maj, Loovens, O'Dea, Thompson, possibly more).

Don't see the problem with this signing at all.

If his current club won't sidetrack him and will continue playing him, I kind of wish he'd stay there until the summer to be honest.

well said. our scouting team and backroom staff know more about football and fojut than anyone on this forum. wait and see how he performs in a run of games before we all form our opinions on him.

 

I like how hes desperate just to play for celtic. Dont know much about him as a player but the way Lennon has described him and that him and John Park have watched him then I reckon he will be good. Get him in now, settled in and raring to go for new season at the very least, or he could come in and get play straight away

 

I am really surprised by this move. Seen the lad play a few times and I cannot say I have been impressed. I don't think he is any improvement on what we already have but I sure as * hope he proves me wrong

 

Well...Me and few other lads from Poland have been watching him for a long time and we all said the same. Trust me...If he is not the best defender in Śląsk Wrocław - he will not be even a good one here. Not Celtic class from what I've seen. Also not Poland National Team level.
