january window is huge

at this point the squad needs QUALITY not quantity,with everyone fit we have a good squad but were missing the quality of a larsson or a petrov and until we have that quality in the squad we cant really go much further,2 years without champions league is not good enough for a team like celtic and what mekes it worse is when teams who where on par with us a few years ago have grown to be regulars in the last 16 or 8 or better in the champions league(porto/lyon).that just shows the standard where we SHOULD be and at the moment we are miles off.we are a big club and when things are goin well they say we are a big club but when things are not we cannot compete with bigger leagues around europe,the board has to make its mind up,either were a big club or were not.Porto and lyons are moving forward why not celtic?

 

Forget the likes of Keane ,Bellamy etc ,we have the guys up front who will do the damage ,Any money spent must be in the defense ,if for talking sake Lennon had 7 million to spend ,i would be more than happy to see him spend on one maybe 2 players with experience ,composure ,and a ruthless streak about them ,a presence if you like .

Something is needed done quickly with that defense ,its priority and the difference of winning or losing the League.

 

What you mean since McManus & Caldwell got shoved & they were't exactly great.

Celtic have a problem in getting in good defenders, especially free ones - which lets face it is what we're looking for.

 

Your dead on there, had there been investment in the last 3 years the huns would be dead and buried by now and we would be going for 5 in a row. Or did the board not want them to go bust, conspiricy theorist that i am!!!!
