    I'm now fully accepting we won't bring anyone in so any business done from now will be a bonus for me. We'll still have enough to go for the full haul domestically but the outlook for the Zenit game is becoming increasingly bleaker.

    Pretty much the same.

    Plus next years qualifiers. It's our own fault if we don't qualify and will be another example of plenty of relative series within the Club's history where we didn't act accordingly. I'll never understand when the Board say "we wont throw money at our problems" when no one even asked them to do such stuff and it somehow is the best for the Club to be like that. It's all nonsense and clear the Board withholds money just so we can win the League and puts the qualifying phase under jeopardy because of the Board's own failings. It's unacceptable in every way and for the Board to constantly come away with saying we are one of the biggest Club's in the world (where we are in terms of support and winning a European Cup) then we certainly aren't acting like one.

    I think we'll struggle quite badly against Zenit if we go in to the game as is. Half our team is injured the noo and our defense is terrible. Would be nice to get some players in now to have them ready for the Champions League qualifiers as well. Getting sick of getting to the group stages now and being nothing but numbers maker uppers and praying that we win at least one of the six games.

    All those years of watching the Huns bring in all their big money signings in every window, I'd love to see us bring in some players to help cement our place at the top and as a wee bonus make the Huns jealous as *. Right now they're getting a good giggle at the crock we've just brought in who might get back to match fitness in time for Easter.

    Between 50 and 60 million Celtic have made in the last 2 seasons plus 7.5 million for vvd transfer so no excuse not to get some players in .

    More than that for Van Dijk.

    I doubt Dembele is leaving in this window, so there's no real need for a striker right now I suppose. But we'll need to do a fair bit of business in the next few windows so it makes sense to start now.

    I'd like to see us get in a wide player. We've only got Sinclair and Forrest fit and ready. Roberts is on his way back from injury, Hayes id done for the season and Mikey Johnston is still only a kid.

    It'll be interesting to see what, if anything, we can get done.

    Seen it all before with this board, after seville we had the chance to push away from the huns, we didn't take it and 2 years later we lost the league in the most horrible circumstances. We had the same chance in the Strachan years as well and then after that fantastic season with lenny getting to the champions league last 16, the board wouldnt back him and he left. We then brought in a manager with no experience and regressed massively, it took getting beat by the huns in the semi of the Scottish cup for this board to finally spend some cash and we brought in Rodgers. In the same position again now and are we spending the big pot of money we have? Are we *.

    BR on transfer window: “There is obviously work going on with the club behind the scenes. It’s just about getting the right type of quality that can improve us – that’s what’s important and that’s never easy

    BR: “We are hoping between now and the end of the month we can do that and that injection of quality into the team will then serve us well hopefully for the rest of the season.”
