Problem with that is that neither look like they’d be a short to mid term solution. What I’ve seen of Ralston I’m not convinced and if Rodgers doesn’t fancy Gamboa then the right back position should be addressed. Left back isn’t required as much as Tierney will play 90% of the games but unsure if Miller would be able to cover if there was ever a lengthy lay off for Tierney, looked decent enough to come in for a league cup game or whatever but 2/3 months in a row might be a different story.

 

Time to give up that until the summer.

 

Ralston looks like a defender first and foremost where as KT obviously reverted from LW.. I like the look of him but would like to see more of him.. the Bhoy’s a unit with obvious leadership qualities.. BR has compared him to a certain Danny McGrain high praise indeed..

Just can’t see us strengthening there in this window.. I’d like to get rid of Gamboa in this window(something not right there for whatever reason) and see how Ralston does sharing with Lustig and then go into the market in the summer if required.

Just think there’s other more pressing positions..

That’s what I mean, we need to see more of Miller in the 2nd half of the season, he’s listed as defender on our website..and we’ve been guilty of overplaying KT. Miller has done well when he’s come in but we need to see much more of him..

Lustig is still a major influence in our squad too, and shouldn’t be written off.. Ralston is rated and has just signed a new deal, I’d be very surprised if we brought another RB in..

Seems strange that we're looking at any attacking players when CB is our weakest position. I agree that we went so long unbeaten that we shouldn't be too concerned - but that's in the league.

Musonda looks good but surely we should be balls to the wall for a solid European CB that will only improve over the next few years. Compper and this Tosic character (at least from this side) appear to be a tad underwhelming for a team that a striving to make waves in Europe - especially with our funds...
