granted maybe the strikers we have wont either but dont build robbie into some sort of superstar that he definatly is NOT !!!!

Didnt say he was a superstar, just vastly better than Beattie, Zurawski & Miller

Do you want to draw up a similar list of Miller, Beattie and Zurawski??

Whats all this talk about Keane being a has-been and he's not scored for ireland since.....blah blah - since when does one player make a team? This could be because the side aint playing well (which they haven't) and what if he's not had many decent chances, through no fault of his own?

I dont know where you get that a player is crap just cos he aint scored in a while - look at Wayne Rooney + Craig Bellamy for example, this could be down to all different reasons - personally i think it'l just be confidence as i know RK is much more than capable of what he's been showing lately.......

imagine if he got his confidence back, was getting a regular game and started scoring again? - maybe WGS could help him, if not i'm sure MON would bite Tottenham's hand off and have him for Aston Villa

Good move, hopefully the bhoy can do well and get some experience under his belt. It would be sad for a guy with his potential to rot on the bench for much longer, it' got to play with your mind a bit.

Good luck Marsh, hope to see you back next year, pushing for the number 1 jersey :50:

By the way, i just stumbled upon this here post

ha ha ha christ andy1978 and stonewall you really make me laugh, are you seriously telling us keane wouldnt get in our team, he is one of the best strikers in the prem as we saw last season unfortunetly hes had a bad start to this one due to injury and defoes sudden good form. your a pair of idiots if you honestly think that.

Keane would walk into our team 100% no doubt, I dont know how anyone would say he couldnt.

But, at the same time Id never rate him as one of the best strikers in the EPL, think your national pride is clouding your judgement there mate - and im not fishing, just saying.

i agree thats whats impressed me most about gs! while walter smith is buying old and past their day players like weir daily(maybe) gs has constantly looked for young promising players like sno copil stokes kuzmanovic. it indicates a bright future and that gs will certainly be part of it.rangers are looking at short term while gs is looking long term.

yup plus his signing of flair players - something celtic has missed for years. He knows whats needed to compete with the best.

you know what, I duno why the huns were only linked with him - id love to sign naismith - i think hes a class above thomson and brown - best young attacking player in the spl (outside our sqaud) imo. he'd cost less to.

what i read in the metro about that kuzmanovic today was that, palermo are out of the running -we are now the only team interested - cos he wanted 1m over 4 years

Judging by that report I really think they are reading too much into a simple slip of the tongue.

hm beattie a john hartson he is and well perfect with jvoh he can hit really good long shots but I don't think I have seen him preform well against big teams.

Hey but if sutton and hartson can do it beattie must be able to aswell.
