An utter shambles this..

Left back we wanted practically never was happening this window
The striker we've been tracking for 2 years...dead in the water, after letting our main man go (which we knew about for months)
Still short on the wings with dreadful backup options..

1 left back
1 adequate striker

Best we're looking at at the moment is a couple of loans at left back til KT signs in the summer and up top..

Woeful doesn't even begin to describe how pathetic it's been, considering how cash rish we are and still in Europe out of the groups..

Even our manager had enough yesterday..

 

Teams don't want to sell good players in January.

It’s the mantra of coming out of transfer windows stronger than we went in that is what will annoy me with this window.

Kyogo
Valle
Palma
Welsh

All on loan or sold/released.

We have brought in Jota.

That’s a weaker squad no matter how you dress it up. It’s not good enough to have to cover certain positions playing a CB at LB and then reason for not replacing a striker is because Maeda can play both LW and striker.

We need to try and improve each window, not just standstill.

To get a CL ready squad we NEED a winger, striker, midfielder and CB.

That won’t all happen in January, it doesn’t need to but that doesn’t mean you can’t fill 1/2 of the positions and then it leaves you with less to do come the summer.

We know exactly how the summer will go. Players we wanted we couldn’t get, dicked around till last few days of the window, end up scrambling, get knocked out CL because we were unprepared and sold some first team players e.g. Hatate.

It’s all too Deja vu.

 

We are literally a disaster, as said before the success isn't due the board its despite them. We literally have no scouting system at the club. We knew we were losing Kyogo and are doing nothing to replace him. We let Valle go despite having no back up left back. We have the means to progress far higher but the board don't seem to want to. I would love a massive restructure at board level and a far better football structure. A proper director of football and a proper scouting system. * off as usual with out lack foresight.

 

You’ve got to give credit to our board. To on one hand completely live by a rule and on the other completely disprove the same rule is an absolute masterclass in shithousery.

 

If we don’t get a LB in then letting Valle cut his loan short was wildly inept

 

No even a sniff of a rumour at this time isn’t great

 

Just use last years statement but change the date

 

Think due to time in window and more teams finding out we have money are pricing out a lot of moves

I'd honestly take a city group or red bull buyout over the current arseholes in charge.

bit weird posting exact same stuff as the * huns post.

 

It’s hard to stomach as a fan when you see us act like amateurs every single transfer window. With a manager like Brendan building a really exciting team, you just want us to keep that momentum going and keep adding to the quality. Instead they penny pinch, rest on their laurels and practically show the best manager we could hope to have, the door in the process.

We make an unbelievable signing in Jota that has everyone buzzing and then they let it all fall flat. You could argue this is potentially one of our most important transfer windows in years too considering there’s qualifiers coming up in July.

I’m waffling at this point, born out of total frustration. Hopefully we see something happen later.
