We can't go the rest of the season with just Idah up front even if we play maeda in there sometimes...it'll be * cheating the fans if we don't find a replacement for kyogo, even a loan of decent quality.

jota is back ! i realize it has to be tempered with losing kyogo but jota is gonna be sensational once more

 

Has to be quality additions or nothing at all. All this 'just sign somebody' is madness. End up with another Yang, Nawrocki or Lagerbielke. If we go the second half with only Jota coming in then so be it. No point in doing well to shift a lot of the failed 'prospects' and then gambling on more

 

Like all windows, can only judge at the end..

We've brought Jota back and KT..even if we need to wait for him..

 

Kyogo's transfer paid for Jota, and we got an extra million to put in the hip pocket. Sleight of hand there.

And about fitting the system. I was just reading today how Lagerbielke is apparently tearing it up in a better league than the SPL and in the Europa League. He wasn't a bad player, he just had the wrong profile for the way Rodgers wants his teams to play. The same could be said for Palma and I imagine arguably also for Nawrocki.

 

We will 100% get another striker in before deadline, even if its a panic loan(ideally not) and 99% a LB (probably Random loan ) , that other winger may happen deadline day aswell.

 

Like going into the kitchen at a restaurant and telling the chef the foods undercooked.

The window is still open and a large , large amount of business will be done across the globe on the final day , as always , selling clubs know this and wait to see if better offers come in before the deal gets made. It's simple.

I've said it for years that we should be strengthening now for the qualifiers in Europe.. Players need to adapt and gel. Our targets should not also be identified way before the window, they should be signed as soon as possible. Seems like we always have this feeling a couple of days before the window shutting (maybe not in Ange's first season) that we are scrambling around, looking for anything. Does my * in.

 

I would say thst our club is run very professionally in the majority of areas apart from our recruitment. We always seem to be haggling with clubs over costs which has lost us some valuable targets over the years and, as a result, have panicked and ended up with some right duffers. Surely, by now our board know that a successful team on the park brings in more revenue so why the * are they holding back and not helping the team reach its full potential
