I would be happy with Ferguson. He would do the business for us.

There was chat before about another centre back, but not heard much on that and only name was that young Danish lad who was available as a bosman so we would probably leave him playing with OB until the summer.

I think we should be in for Sanches but doesn’t sound like we are interested any more. He would have covered CM (8) and a right wing option.

Either that will we go for Lennon Miller? Sounds like we will be busy.

I think midfield will be addressed come the summer. Hatate away I'd say be our biggest summer sell.

I'd sign Sanches though he looks great.

I'd argue both Jota and Tierney are blockbusters.

Evan Ferguson would be a * of a signing

But convinced BHA would only loan out atm

Initially he was all about finishing, and always seemed to hit the target - then his link up play improved considerably, but towards the end of De Zerbi’s management, poor form meant chances dried up.

    Could he a great fit

Gutted that we’ve lost Kyogo, definitely my favourite striker since Larsson! really
hope we have someone lined up to replace him.

Happy if we sign both Jota and Tierney, we know how good they can be for us but a little worried Jota will be a replacement for Kuhn in the summer.

If we end the window with Jota, Tierney and a striker, it will definitely have been a decent window!

We’ve also heard Rodger’s say we plan for everything so the old "January is difficult" excuse isn't really good enough.

Celtic plan to conclude a stunning £9million deal to re-sign Portuguese winger Jota over the weekend.

And they will hold fire on the £10m sale of Kyogo Furuhashi to French club Rennes until agreement with Jota is reached. The Japanese striker was pictured boarding a private jet at Glasgow airport today before later touching down on French soil

Rennes’ Argentine boss Jorge Sampaoli confirmed the move, saying: ‘We hope first of all that the deal is finalised today. If that is the case, he (Furuhashi) could perhaps play a few minutes (in Monaco on Saturday).

‘He is a player we really wanted. We expect a lot from him because he is a player who can help us a lot, and in particular bring us depth.’

Plans for Jota to fly to Glasgow in the next 24 hours have been delayed by Storm Eowyn.

The 25-year-old left Celtic 18 months ago for a £25m deal in Saudi Arabia but, after a difficult spell, switched to Rennes last summer for a fee of around £10m.

A Parkhead target last summer, the former Benfica man was initially reticent over a return to Parkhead.

However, the French club’s move for Furuhashi opened a window of opportunity for Celtic to try again and, provided negotiations reach a satisfactory conclusion, both deals are likely to go ahead.

Furuhashi’s departure will see Celtic renew their interest in Brondby striker Mathias Kvistgaarden, the 22-year-old Dane who manager Brendan Rodgers has been tracking for some time.

Wth 38 goals in 109 games for Brondby, Kvistgaarden has attracted interest from around Europe, and Celtic could face competition from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Bundesliga side are looking for a replacement for Omar Marmoush, the Egyptian striker who joined Manchester City for a fee of almost £60m this week.

Kvistgaarden, who has 12 goals in 18 games across all competitions this season, is thought to want a move abroad.

Keen to ensure they get top dollar for the former Denmark Under-21 international, Brondby could hold out for a fee of around £10m including add-ons.

Rodgers stressed earlier this month that Celtic would be ready to move quickly in the transfer market should any of their stars depart.

Kyogo departed Celtic to seal his £10million move to Rennes – with former hero Jota on the verge of a sensational return in the opposite direction.

Japan star Kyogo headed to France to finalise his switch and end his prolific three-and-a-half-year spell in Scotland. But the supporters’ blow has been softened with the quick-fire move to bring back the popular Portuguese wide man in a deal worth around £8.5m. Celts refused to stand in Kyogo’s way after the frontman’s representation revealed the 30-year-old was keen to explore a new challenge

And boss Brendan Rodgers jumped on the chance to land Jota in a operate deal with the French outfit determined to offload the attacker in this January transfer window. The 25-year-old departed the Hoops 18 months ago in a eye-watering £25m sale to Saudi Arabian outfit Al Ittihad – and the Parkhead club also pocketed a slice of the sell on when he headed to Rennes for around £9m

Rodgers is also looking to negotiate a deal to bring back fellow fans’ favourite Kieran Tierney this month with a pre-contract ahead of the summer already close to being agreed with the Arsenal ace. And Record Sport understands Celtic will also ramp up their attempts to land a replacement striker for Kyogo – with a big name loan signing from England also a possibility

Did a poster on KDS predict the Jota move?
