  2. We don't need to register KT for the CL, as he'll get injured in his first game and miss the rest of the season.

  3. JC Anton

JC Anton Get yer, hats, scarfs badges & tapes

    That's the spirit..

  4. Still fills the home grown quota even if he’s injured :fear:

  6. If we don’t get the following

    Left Back
    Winger
    Forward

In all honesty we could be handing them a life line, going the rest of the Season with Idah as our main forward would be * criminal, think someone else coming in needs to happen.

We are 1 injury away from a nightmare situation

  7. Kyogo is a real sickener, but think the blow would have been cushioned if we’d brought in a couple of quality signings before he left. We’ve lost one of our best and just have to trust that the club have got this covered. That’s always a bit of a worry.

  8. Agreed; it’d be an act of insanity to try and get away with that.

  9. Club wouldn’t sanction the Kyogo move if there wasnt a move in the pipeline , hopefully sooner rather than later. I’ve already said I think Kyogo past year has been on the decline so it’s a win win for us. I’d love to see the stats on how much kyogos running has changed over the year as I think it may have reduced .

if we finish the window with KT , Jota and a proven goalscorer then I would say the has improved the starting 11 not just the squad

I don’t know much about kvistgaarden but I will trust there judgement. I would much rather a giakoumakis type striker but if he comes then I will give him the chance as idah for me is no where near what we need

  10. Can see us carrying on to the last day and ending up with a project striker on loan from some English Clubs U21's or Reserves, That would be typical Celtic.

I actually weirdly have faith in the board on this one. For their failings we do tend to do a good job selling players and us seemingly having this transfer lined up and signed off on for Kyogo on the same day he's playing for us in the CL makes me pretty confident we're close to bringing someone in very soon. I still think selling him at all right now is insane but I do think we must be looking to bring in someone decent.

  12. Evan ferguson if we could get him back to last seasons for would be a good loan signing if we could get him on an 18month

  13. We are going to end up getting two players we sold for 50m back for about 6m ; both in their mid twenties....

A fit Tierney and Jota on one wing and NK and AJ on the other with a top quality striker playing behind an ever improving Engels. * may get very exciting .

Marty Boyle would be a good option

Massive Celtic man by all accounts

  17. You would assume so, yes, but if any crowd would * that up it’d be Celtic. However, I think with the extra money that the CL has brought in, as well as the opportunity to earn more in the next round, they’ll probably have their ‘ducks in a row’ this time out.

See this makes me nervous. It's all a bit Lennon in the showers timing for my liking.

"Right, they're all buzzing about qualifying for the play offs, get Rennes back on the phone"

As an Irish fan, I think he’s quite overrated tbh.

  19. What a weird day. Kyogo gone but Jota back. A day of mixed emotions.
