    I wonder if Rodgers will enquire about Eddy. Honestly wouldn't fancy him back but wouldn't be surprised if we tried to get him even on a 6 month loan.

    I've said before 10mil or so doesn't buy you polished players anymore it buys you someone who has shown a bit and has potential.

    Your 5mil players are more of a risk while a Lawell special around 2-3mil as a * lucky dip.

    Edit: These values im talking about player that fit our transfer strategy i.e buy young and sell on for a profit. You can buy proven players for 10mil but they are 30+ with next to no sell on values for us.

    What's a blockbuster name?

    Those days are in the past. A marquee signing now is a young and upcoming striker being looked at by sides in other European leagues. We aren't gonna sell a 30 year old striker to then spend big money on one in their late 20s with little sell on value...its just not how we work or should be working.

    We definitely have a replacement lined up and a deal agreed. It was all hinging on us progressing in the CL, which I would like to remind everyone we have done. What a time to be a Celtic supporter!!!! Beautiful.

    Think the striker will be another loan like the Idah one. Try before you buy type. Probably a player in England struggling for game time.
