I don't believe that if we were even on points with Rangers having been pumped off them in January we would be selling kyogo with no replacement. Fans nor Rodgers would simply not tolerate it.

As usual it's a care of doing the minimum in order to be a bit better than rangers and nothing more.

He would have been the perfect tonic for our problems

 

Think we are one player short right now. A striker even until the summer and I think we’re in a pretty good position.

 

That sounds rather tinpot....ffs!

 

Obviously it won't be sorted in the summer, we'll sell a first team player and use that money to buy the striker we should have bought this window. We're always playing catch up, always surprised we need to replace players

 

We’re only needing 5-6 players if we sell, if we are adding a bit of context.

The board got away with exactly this in summer just gone.

Big money on Engle's and being fleeced by Norwich gave them something to shout proudly about (breaking our transfer record twice).
And on the back of that, most folk done the usual, gave them the benefit and the chance to sort out the glaring other issues in January.

We've not.
We swapped the need for a left winger with the need for a striker.
Nothing else has been dealt with.

But hey, always summer time. I'm sure we will get everyone in before the qualifiers...
