So far he is!

 

I think he's a top player! Has been doing well for PSV in europe the last couple of seasons and he should be a brilliant signing for us

We're missing him a lot...Lost our first game without him. Now we have Patrick Kluivert. A typical Ajax player and Tardelli a brazilian talent. And didn't play well the previous seasons. I'm hoping for a great season for Vennegoor (and a worse for Ooijer). You won't be disappointed.

 

Ooijer was very bad his first game for blackburn , i watch game on sky sports ,drogba gave him a roasting tbh . think we choose the better deal/ player in jvoh =).

 

Some PSV fans came on here, boasting that they could afford to sell him because they have a wealth of striking options. That tune has changed a bit

 

I saw him come on and watched the whole second half of the Luxemburg/Holland game, he played good, didnt score, but his lay offs to others were first class, good in the air, verygood target man, and very willing to get right in there!

 

put it this way psv signed kulivert to fill jvoh boots it seem so to speak .... and only signed him (kluivert) for a 1 season deal .. that says it all really ... we possibly took psv best striker from them ... the only reason i see he aint first choice for holland atm is because of huntelaar but thats not a bad thing eh.. as huntelaar is really on form and hard to leave out from national team.

He joined Newcastle United on 21 July 2004 to team up with Alan Shearer. However, Newcastle decided not to take up the second year on his contract, and he was released, even though he scored 13 goals in all competitions. Kluivert started off brighly in the Premier League, but, due to constant knee injuries, failed to impress in the second part of the season.

Valencia


He decided to return to Spain to play for Valencia CF. Reportedly, the club included a special clause in his contract that allowed for Kluivert to be sacked if he lacked discipline off the pitch. Kluivert has been given permisson to look for a new club in July 2006 after just one season and 202 minutes played, as he spent most of the season injured.

Kluivert returned to the Eredivisie, signing a one-year deal with PSV Eindhoven.




im over the moon we choose to go for a striker of jvoh calibre rather than kluivert tbh... kluivert was good on his day at times many years ago but too inconsistent and a waste of time i think now tbh sorry. he is not the replacement for jvoh.@ psv by all means.

 

Vennegoor was the best player last night. For me the only player who deserved a 6. And Ooijer was worse again
I've never said he was worse but we've got Farfan and Kone. So I thought we could play with them in 442. But without Vennegoor PSV was *... Now we've got Kluivert... If he plays like in his Barce time he's better than Vennegoor. But I don't think that it will happen.. You must be very very happy with him. You can't get a better tall striker than Vennegoor of Hesselink. A hard working, underrated player in the Netherlands.. And praised in Celtic . You've got my respect. In the Netherlands good players aren't praised ( Seedorf, Davids, Bommel, Robben, Nistelrooy, Makaay).
