We don't buy players on the basis of appeasing fans, we buy them on the basis they can improve the team. Which McFadden most definately would, however would he improive it as much as his wages would dictate? That's to be seen.

I know Celtic fans, like me, have a soft spot for paddy buts hes not good enough to play week in week out with us. McFadden is a far superior player.

Mccourt doesnt cost much though and i like him about the place.

at most we're going to sign four players this window. you have three there but we also need a goalkeeper and defender.

Seb Larsson is being looked at by Liverpool and many other EPL teams. don't think we have a chance. if it was to materialize, we'll need more players heading towards the exits to make room for him.

I felt the same way about Commons before we signed him, I hope this is a sign of how good Lennon's judgement is.

 

not saying it doesnt work out anytime ,just think this one is wrong as we have enuf cover in this position of greater or equal quality .

 

Injury free yes. But not sure he's the type of player we need we seem to have a few players like him and where do we play him. Would like to see a few players leave before we bring in a luxury player like McFadden.

And to me Paddy, Maloney and McGinn would all have to leave before we brought him in.

I'd rather Snodgrass, a player who can play as a striker and at LM, the same as McFadden really.
