Would be better going on loan now we've brought in Iwata.

Has played his part in getting us an extra two points this season with that late Bernie to Giako goal.

He got very little game time, now that mooy has hit his stride and iwata has arrived he'll be lucky to make the bench.

Was happy when he signed as i think we needed some experience and character in the squad. Difficult to know what sort of impact he's had behind the scenes but I think him and Hart were important signings.

Shame how his career has turned out as he was a very good midfielder at one point.

Hibs would be a good loan for him, by all accounts he’s well liked in the team and Ange wants him around. Depends if he’s actually wanting to get game time though.

Would be a good move for him but can't see them being able to afford his wages. Isn't he on like £15k a week? They might be able to pay half of it for 6 months if we let them away with a loan fee. Just can't see that happening.

We wouldn't get much financial benefit from this, but we'd have a happier fitter player if he was playing more.

And if he scores or sets up a winner against the huns, priceless

Also if he's playing every week he's got more chance of a decent move in summer

I'd be all for him going. He needs the game time, we need him in the shop window as well. He could be one where we just accept the fact he's on too large a contract and we are better getting some sort of loan fee/percentage of wages paid for the next couple of years until he moves on.

I don't think he'll go far from here. Hibs would be a good move for him if he wants to play but I can't see them denting that salary.

I often wonder what people understand about football.

James McCarthy - can’t get on the bench for us in Scotland. But Everton, scraping to stay in the EPL, will sign him to keep them up.

    * mental.

    * there is a chair on the Celtic bench with his arsecrack moulded into it, sits there any longer I feel the may just spray him bronze. You've heard of The Thinker, he's 'The Thinking aboot', thinking aboot what he's doing after the game.

    He’s injured.

He is a fantastic footballer, but it’s just not worked out for him with us (other than his contract!).

He’s made plenty of money and I think perhaps at this stage in his career he would want to play and start regularly.

We’ll only find out if that’s the case in the summer. He seems a appreciated member of the squad in the background though, the quickfire questions on Celtic TV he’s mentioned a lot and Ange has mentioned his professionalism in the background as well.

Definitely not worth the wage that, but its a small part of the whole. What I liked, that a lot of people complained about, is he earned his place off the bench infront of some guys like Abilgaard and Ideguchi that Ange has brought in at times, shows that if you work regardless of circumstances around being in the team you’ll get the call.
