Seen that myself. Think we've got a year's option. We'll take it and punt him for a mill or something ..

I worry about ronny and his ability to judge a player if he is handing forrest a new contract...hope he has a new team to join and not just playing hard ball.

Mentioned in the Caley Thistle Match thread about his absence from the team being related to his contract negotiations. The quote from Ronny posted on the previous page reaffirms that for me.

I think Forrest has plenty of ability and would ultimately like to see him sign a new deal. However if he's wanting to leave/not willing to stay, then I agree that leaving him out of the squad.

Its a shame, because he is wasting what is a great talent. He'll likely regret the day he downed tools for us. We don't accept that type of player.

Agreed. If we're sticking with the 4-2-3-1 then the wingers need to be contributing a lot more than Forrest does. Doesn't score or set-up enough goals. £10-15k p/wk saved in my opinion.

Biggest mistake of his life, but wonderful news for me. Very very average player, i groan every time I see him in the team.

He will stumble around the bottom half of the championship for a year or two then ended up back up here at Aberdeen, St Johnstone etc.

Fair doos to him for trying his luck elsewhere, but I reckon he'll be found out.

See for anyone else I would say this was 100% accurate but something with Forrest tells me he thinks he's better than the rest of the SPL.

*, he thinks he's better than the majority of his team mates just now which proves how his perception of his own ability and where he stands in the current squad is deluded.

Which makes you think. What offers is he looking for just now? I think he'd get a lower EPL Club because he has pace like an Anya but I don't think he'd ever be a Premiership regular. Ship has sailed for him on that front IMO.

Bit of a shame cause on his day he can be one of the best players in the league. Seen posters say does he think he's better than the League. Well, to be fair, the League has declined drastically since he broke into the first team. Unfortunately due to injury he hasn't really taken his talents to the next level, but I can see him doing pretty well elsewhere if he gets a good coach behind him. He's not going to find one here, that's for sure.

REally can't wait to see the back of him.

    He'll end up at Bolton.

Waste of a jersey, and an over-rated Primmadonna * to boot.

He'll be lucky to get a start at a mid table epl side on current form.

Can we not get Harry Redknapp into a managerial position. He likes him.

    * him.
Always defended him but thats him been injury free for a while now and his form has been pish.
Not like a maloney who had proven his ability regularly. Hes been out injured and had no form whatsoever. So i shall say again....* him. Play lads who want to be hear

    Are we bothered?

It's about time we got rid of players like Forrest, he clearly does not want to be here and that's the last thing we need in the dressing room. I was at the EK game and I was cringing when he came on, at his lack of effort against them.

I'm just glad I can stop kidding myself that he's going to come good and start tearing the place up.... been waiting for years.

    Cheerio!
