Decent bid and I'd sell Forrest tbh I see more in GMS long term then him

 

Let the contract run down or cash in now ?

 

He'd get a decent enough club in the Championship maybe even a side like Norwich or Swansea in the PL

 

Really? Forrest is a year younger and a far far better player at the moment.

 

I like GMS and his poor form frustrates me coz in pre-season he was brilliant, Forrest is a good player a fantastic player on his day but the injuries are worrying

 

4 years is crazy. He's not had a serious injury in a while and he's yet to really show any signs of progress in terms of ability from his first season or two.

I'd be looking to get rid of him in the summer.

And he's played how many games in that time? 4 or 5 on the trot then he's out again with a slight niggle

 

Come on Sean, it's not one or two games.

He had a good start to the season, albeit he never exactly produced much in terms of goals and assists. But even you have to admit that by and large, for the last couple of months he's contributed next to nothing.

I know it's not all about stats but 2 goals and 1 assist in 26 games this season is * poor. Armstrong has done more than that and we've been saying for ages how pish he's been.

We are short of wingers and that's why I wouldn't sell him right now but giving him a 4 year contract is crazy.

 

Plays 2 or 3 on the trot then gets rotated.

 

By all means we should be looking to bring in better but all this "punt" nonsense when a player goes off the boil for a couple of games does my * in.

For five years now he's been a 'promising player who just needs a run of games'.

He's just not very good.

I like Forrest but I just dont ever see him going on to be what we all thought he would. Seems to play amazing against bigger teams, then can go missing against Ross County for a full gane.

 

He's better than any of the other haddies we have playing in wide positions. Which is entirely my point.

People just shout punt these days without giving any thought as to who is going to step in in their place.

Needs a 5 year contract. At his worst he is better than any signing that would replace him.
