Another sublime wee bit of play, taking the ball and 2 Aberdeen players out to his right then immediately slipping the ball through for McCowan. The guy is so, so clever. Pretty much the perfect sub at this point.

He's played several good through balls recently that we've not taken advantage of. Delighted for him considering we thought his Celtic career would have been over a while ago.

 

The guy is brilliant, a great inspiration to younger players.

 

His form since signing the new deal has been up there with the second half of last season, just needs a goal now.

Feel like his passing and touch is better now that he's older. Don't get me wrong, it was always good, but he's playing that sub role superbly in recent years.

Seems a bit more mature now. Think he's been given a bit more responsibility in the main and relishing it, knowing his role at the club.

Doing well on the pitch again too. Hope he gets his goal.

 

Would like to see him play midfield when his pace for the byline goes completely, his intelligence and passing could give us another 2 or 3 Yr.

 

Wifies favourite player, she so chuffed with his recurrence of form from 2nd half of last season on. She just wants the wee man to get a goal this season noo.

 

Would love to see him in the 10 role, his vision is awesome

 

Comes on and splits the defence..

Done more in a second than Maeda all game. Time he got some more minutes as the latter has zero and I mean zero guile. When he's off it he's pants..

 

Created the best chance of the night with a trademark defence splitter. Quality oozing out the guy.

 

Totally agree, not a fan of Maeda but I do understand his qualities. Maeda will definitely start on Sunday.
