Scales completely loses Dessers after having him marked originally that’s more criminal than the cross coming in

Aye, I'm not saying the only issue was the 2v1 on Johnston, but it wasn't good

The good form continues. Absolute nuisance every time he got the ball. Great to see. Hope he stays fit.

Took his recent form into the game today. Was excellent first half and it was probably the most influential he has been against them. Wasn’t as much involved second half but that was through the whole team.

Barely seen him all season then gets thrown in for the title run for which he's been pivotal. He's been excellent.

He had a good game until he tired.

Constantly trying to beat his man and usually did.

Yes, agree, never going to last more than an hour, was really good early doors but faded second half.

Delighted for him to play well against them, as he usually is crap against them.
He has found form just at the crucial tome of the season.
    Deserved his start today

He was bang on it from the start..

You can see how confident he is within his self being one of the more experienced players. He's relished this spell big time..

Terrorised Barisic, what we lacked in the last couple of Derbies. Just turning and running through guys, keeping the ball, playing round people.

Felt him, O'Riley and McGregor were our 3 best players and most of our good play went through them. Hatate wasn't at it, Scales dreadful looking, Taylor and Maeda fine but less involved it felt compared to down the right.

Taylor got bullied at the back post and loses the first header. Not for the first time either because Sterling done it early in the game and it nearly cost us. That was clearly a game plan the huns had.

I know it's Barisic, but Forrest absolutely terrorised him all game.

Honestly think that's his best performance against them, or at the very least top 3.

Think hatate sort of stifled a fair bit of forrests work first half. Looked a yard short and not anticipating what was happening

What a * player this boy is. First half especially he was superb. Like CL level quality.

It’s always absolutely amazed me how rarely he loses the ball, his ball retention for a winger is insane man.

watch it again Dessers scores scales has him marked when the ball comes over and gets drawn to the ball instead of leaving it. If he leaves it Dessers doesn’t get a free header criminal to leave a centre forward with a free header, mark your man your job for the team is done and that goal doesn’t happen

Aye both to blame. If Taylor doesn’t lose the first header then it doesn’t come back across for Dessers. He got done with the exact same ball earlier in the game and it nearly dropped in.
