think you giys need to get a grip.

he's been our best player this season, absolutly miles ahead of last season when he was being slated.

he comes on as a sub when everyone else in the team is playing * and suddenly hes gettin slated.

    he was outstanding against fenerbache

Totally different player when his attitude is right.

Constantly looking for the ball today, and doing what he's good at.

Much better from him, especially for a spell in the 2nd half.

Hope the tight hamstring doesn't come to anything.

Aye, I said confidence today but it's not even that, it is attitude. When he doesn't hide he is excellent.

There was a 10 minute spell in the 2nd half he was e cellent tonight.

Aye, don't want his form to suffer with yet another injury. Never gets a week out injury always long term.
Hopefully this was just a case of feeling tight and taken off as precaution.

Hopefully it isn't that serious. You could see his confidence building as the game went on.

He murdered them for that 15 minute spell when he was getting on it..

It's those wee bits in game's that win you them as not only are we creating and scoring from them but it puts them totally on the back foot..

Just need more of that please..

I thought he was * poor until he literally just decided he wanted to influence things and then did at will.

Which is why the wee * is so frustrating.

Ran though a Ross County defence, hardly surprising. Also, he doesn't do it consistantly. We played a side today which were poor. I'm at least expecting Forrest to go through them.

It was like he was playing it very safe then decided * this and went for there throat, you're bang on there, he's annoying as * because of that. When he's bold, strong and direct there's nobody in Scotland that can live with him.

To be fair, he has played much better this season including getting us up the park time and again in Europe. Final ball could be better at times but it is improving and he is also getting into better goalscoring positions when he doesn't have the ball.

I can understand people's frustrations though because he was * electric when he decided to put on the afterburners today.

I'm not making excuses for him but I wonder if he is still feeling a knock from the other week. He was supposed to be on the bench against Hearts but got thrust in because of injury to GMS.

    I'm really not.

He was flying for a while (even Paul67 agreed with that ffs :smiley-laughing002:), picks up a knock that rules him out of the Hearts game and has been a bit disappointing since, until that wee 20 minute cameo today. Then goes off with cramp near the end.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility that he is still carrying a small knock but has become so important to us (and the alternative to him is rank rotten) that he just can't be left out.

Plenty of people play through wee niggles.

Agree with you there Paul. Non-existant for large parts of the game and then all of a sudden he's absolutely unplayable for 20 minutes.

That pass for Griffiths' second was something else.

His run for Griffiths second was able to happen because County had pushed forward leaving space for him to exploit. 9/10 we're up against teams that sit in & he can't use his pace effectively. He's constantly doubled up on and ends up coming inside into traffic or just passing it on. Ends up being a passenger too often due to this.

Scored a fine goal against Aberdeen the other week, a goal which if it was anywhere else the coverage would have been more positive.

What he done today for our 3rd goal and on a couple of occasions afterwards is what he should be looking to do more often than the cutting inside.

Ross County defenders didn't and many other defences don't like dealing with defending cutbacks where they have to keep an eye on the opponent and the ball position.
