I posted this in the Utd match thread with Priest adding his observations

You wonder how his head is during matches. But then he still doesn't think twice about sprinting, fair play to him. He seems to have a better attitude these days, less sulking and moaning, but then I've not seen him much to know if that's accurate?

Reminds me so much of Theo Walcott, as in great pace, exciting to watch but his final ball could and should be so much better. But against Malmo was probably best player

Totally lost hope with the bhoy for the first time ever and slaughtered him on here and I don't think he's had a bad game since. So you can all thank me for giving him the boot up the * he needed :50:

well done to wee James for bouncing back, he takes some amount of punishment on the park and tries to stay on his feet a lot. if James gets a full season under his belt i think he will come on leaps n bounds.

Yes, of course. I still don't know why these idiots in the stands give him so much abuse? Crazy!

I was similar to a lot of people, loved him at first then got frustrated when he seemed to have lost his confidence and didn't look like it was coming back.

I think he deserves a lot of praise considering how much of a nightmare it must've been for the guy himself, plagued by injuries then his confidence blown, takes a lot of strength to keep going and bounce back the way he's looking. Ronny deserves some credit too for sticking by him, that trust giving him confidence. He adds such an exciting edge to our game and it must freak defenders right out. We should do well on Tuesday if he puts in another performance.

He's definitely shown improvement in the Inverness and Malmo games with some cracking runs. Still couldn't hit a cross into an Olympic sized swimming pool but

This is the sort of improvement I've been looking for off of him. He has another few gears to go up yet though.

    I want consistency.

Was another recent critic of him. But when credits due, I will dish out. Well done Wee Jimmy on your resurgence. Long may it continue. I wish all Celtic players to prove me wrong when I slate them. Efe you, I'm talking to you * wit!:38:

Lacks so much composure, does all the hard bits then the ball gets stuck under his feet.

That being said he looks like he's accepted his fallacies and is working on them. Far better attitude to the game last night in terms of beating people and trying to win the ball back in areas further down the field.

Superb first half main threat, came out for second half and was shifted out of position to accommodate someone else, not saying it's a tie changer, but we were better in the first half than we were second

Great game tonight, not his biggest fan usually but was the only player on the pitch trying for us

Again(like against Killie) he's the only one who actually did anything! So * poor from Celtic tonight.

Forrest is the only attacking player who deserves a paycheck this week.

Keep him fit and get him playing more matches and he will become a real asset, sometimes needs to get his head up and pass and work on his final ball but other than that over both legs no one can fault his effort and stood out on both legs for me shame so many others didn't.
