    Easily the best player on the park for me. Delighted he got a goal to show for it as well, he was the loan bright spot for me that first half apart from decent efforts by McGregor and Boyata.

    In the mood today, and when he's in the mood he'll come up with performances like that. His take and turn in the second half for the free kick on the edge of the box was utter class.

    BR: James Forrest’s goal was a wonderful piece of skill. It was difficult for the defender because he thought that James was maybe going to go on the outside, but he's got that ability to come in on his left side & play it with the outside of his foot or bend it in like he did.

    Bit sad our fans don't have a song for him, seems to get a lot of stick off of people even when he plays well. Been our best player this season and i hope he continues his excellent form :50:

    Still belting out the Armstrong song even though he has been dug * for a while now, and he wouldn't commit to the club!

    Jimmy has been tearing it up for ages now and can't even get a "one James Forrest". Sad and annoying.

    He was the best player in the first half as well I thought, said it just before HT then at HT a guy outside says to be "Hes got to get that Forrest off hes done nothing hes scared to take a man on" and im thinking hes the only guy taking men on and was doing well lol :31::56:

    I've been one of his biggest critics for a long time, but he's started this season in a similar vein to last season, hopefully his form carries beyond christmas this season.

    People are still seeing the Forrest from 3 or 4 year ago.

    I will always will a player on to prove me wrong, will never want to fully write one off unless they are evidently dug * (Amido Balde-esque). Forrest has done that with me.

    Fully deserves the credit and he is also one of us, could see what the goal meant and its great to see him, McGregor and Tierney all enjoying it.
