    Think he has to build from that performance because it’s the reason he is so frustrating.

    If you are capable of doing that to Alba you should be handing domestic left backs their * on a weekly basis.

    If you ask me he has been answering that question for two years now. He has been fully fit in that time and dovetailed well with Roberts, looking very much his equal a lot of the time.

    Think folk are being a bit unfair on Padraig because of this one performance.

    The reality is tonight was an exception despite me agreeing with you he has played well for a while now. Tonight was easily a good few levels above.

    My post wasn't a slight on Paddy. Just that Jamesy didn't deserve to lose his place when Paddy came home. Forrest was one of our best performers of the season up until that point.

    Certainly up there with one of his best, especially when you consider the player(s) he was up against. Has so much in his locker and pace to burn hence why folk always want to see him driving at defences in this way and playing with this confidence in his own ability.

    That was probably THE best James Forrest performance in a Celtic shirt. Undoubtedly he was our best man last night. Hope this is maybe some kind of turning point for him....at long long last. It seems like he's been around forever and although I'm not his biggest fan, I'm getting sick of him being the scapegoat. Surely now he'll turn the corner and become the player he has the ability to be.

    In the form of his life last few months. He keeps this consistency up we've got a top played on our hands all of a sudden. Showed Sinclair how to play against top teams.

    Hes brilliant. Hes always been capable. Personally the way he runs now, hes finally over the mental aspect of his continues run of injuries. One thing ronny got right was sorting that and not doing a lenny bringing him back too early constantly.

    Maybe Roberts coming in and putting Forrest's under pressure has forced that kind of performance ,but Forrest has always been good when he sticks to what he's good using his pace to run at people
