But if we sell him then you'll no longer look like a Celtic player. You can't want that surely? :icon_mrgreen:

Agreed. He's pish, and no matter who the manager is he'll still be pish.

He had a couple of decent burst but still doesn't look desperate to play. He just seems unsure of what he should be doing. Lost confidence or just being found out, I can't tell, but in either way I think we need to be doing better than Forrest

    I'd rather have Niall McGinn.

Not a better option to play on the left hand side currently, gets an unbelievable amount of stick from our fans considering what he can offer.

Christie or Roberts (if Rodgers is going to persist with Griffiths on the right) are better options.

The stick he gets is more than justified, don't kid yourself on. Let's see what he offers.

2015/16 season - 33 games, 2 goals, 2 assists. For a winger. Playing for Celtic.

    Dreadful doesn't even cut it.

He has something to offer though, I don't know how people can't admit this.

He terrified Maribor when he came on, created panic in their defence and drew people towards him.

We don't have an abundance of pace in the team, it's something we must rectify quickly.

Aye when he's on his game he can beat some players relatively easily, like today with the Maribor full back. But, and this has always been his problem, his end product is nowhere near good enough. Most of his shots are daisy cutters, most of his crosses don't beat the first man and he isn't exactly a fantastic passer of the ball.

I know stats aren't always the be all and end all (although for attacking players they sort of are) but just look at his stats. He doesn't contribute enough.

    I'm inclined to agree.

I'm happy to let him go when we sign some quick wingers but until then I'd keep him.

Agreed. Not because I think McGinn is anything special but at least he has a final ball and is a goal threat. Forrest offers nothing.

I would prefer McGinn myself, at least he is a Celtic man with a final ball.
Forrest is another chanty razzler that needs hunted by Rodgers.

I've tried my hardest to like Forrest but he keeps letting us down with half hearted performances. I wouldn't mind if he wasn't good but I think there is a good player there who just doesn't have his full commitment to his game. So many times I've been half way off my seat shouting yes Jamies boy come on, only to sit down in frustration is he runs the ball out of play or tries a cross that doesn't come off.

If he had confidence he could probably be a great winger because on form he can take it past players but that's something that takes practise and practise even when you hate it.

If he leaves I'd miss his potential but I wouldn't miss him, I think we need more consistent players.
