Interesting to see the manager speaking about Forrest at the end of the game.

Saying he needs to look at how much Robben and Ribery run during games in order to reach his full potential.

Seen that too but I like the way Ronny has vocally said he wants to protect him so as he stops getting injured. Thinks thats why he went off as was having a decent game.

No point whipping in crosses if there isn't anyone to meet them.

anyway, he is much more dangerous beating his man out wide and then cutting in and playing quick one twos, he has such a great first touch.

Aye, agree with that. His crossing isn't that great and if used to cut in quick, I think a low fast cutback or shot will serve us much better.

This guys got the potential to be our best player in years. He is a player i actually think can cause damage to teams single handed. Stay fit and we have a excellent player we couldnt afford to buy.

Yeah if deila gets the potential out of Forrest and he can remain injury free he will go for 15-20m seriously. The way deila is speaking is that hes going to be working him hard and he'll be non stop running if Forrest adds this to his game then he will be unbelievably good

Have to disagree with that. i don't think he's anywhere near that figure, now or in the future. Far too injury prone, disappears a lot and doesn't deliver often enough at the top level.:52:
I know he's still young and we forget how young because he's been on the scene for what seems like a long time but he flatters to deceive for me. :31:
Not saying he isn't a good player, I think he is but he's never going to be at that level where we command that type of fee for him.
I can't really recall any other top level side seriously look at him. Rumours were around Everton recently but that's all they were.
I'd rather have McGeady than Forest but it's all personal preference.:50:

Only just turned 23, if he has a season or two injury free then i very much think they sort of prices will be getting mentioned for James. Under deila he will be made to work harder and he is playing in a more attacking role allowing for him to be more free and creative. He will improve and become a more complete player - better than Mcgeady, if he just works hard, listens to deila and looks at other players for inspiration then there is no reason why he shouldnt be going for that price.

I'm often critical of him, but I thought he was our best player last night before going off.

Thought he was excellent, was so nice to have him back. He just gives us a different option when he's on the park when it comes to counter attacking.

Looks like James has done his hammy in again. Could be looking at 4-6 weeks out if so.

He's been unlucky with injuries, but if you're harsh then he is no good to us constantly out of action.

Really wasn't any need to bring him on as well. Gutter if he's out for Wednesday.
