First chance i've had to speak to a pal who was at the game on Wednesday. Asides from 'We were *' he also said wee James lobbed his shirt to the crowd at the end of the game?

Do we take this as a possible farewell appeareance or did Mr Lawell want it to flog on ebay?

People toss tops into the crowd all the time or boots. In the St Pauli game, St Pauli players were swapping tops with Celtic fans for flags and scarves.

He's probably our best midfield/forward player now, look forward to him coming back into the teams. He's not actually injured really, he has something wrong with a thigh muscle I think it is but has been training, Deila just wants him fully injury free before bringing him into the team as he thinks that he keeps getting injured because he's not moving right by trying not to hurt or feel pain on injuries which havent healed which is leading to more other injuries from not moving freely.

I want to see him playing in the middle when he returns in place of Commons, with 2 new wingers.

Can't see that being his best position considering his main attributes of pace and crossing the ball.

Also good at running through the middle and playing 1-2s around the box and scoring goals.

Plus if Deila's gonny keep playing these mad tactics we need good pace up front from all the front 4.

For sure we need an injection of pace, but I think the Jamesy on the right wing would really benefit form Deila's tactics.

    I'm not picky.
Forrest on the right, Commons through the middle, McGregor on the left with Stokes up front.

I wonder * stick around for us to see his small flashes of brilliance that we know well.

He really needs to expose himself to Deila and show him what he can do.

Such matters will not be made pubelic, however so all we can hope for is a streak of quality from a sub appearance.

He has a hamstring akin to a protein deficient strand of hair.

They used the shirt in a Viking ceremony so we could get through the tie.Now if we are after pace for our team. I would look in France as there is a lot of pace in the French league's

We need to get him fully fit. He is such a great asset to us and exactly what Ronny is looking for.

Can't understand people who want him sold, he is so dangerous when he plays and that pace is everything that modern football is about.

He was our best player I though until he went off, Biton played well too and probably took MOTM in the end since he scored a penalty and played the full game.

I want Forrest to play central in place of Commons. Commons is too stiff and loses the ball atleast 50% of the time he gets it passed to him in there.

Forrest seemed at the heart of everything at one point, then just seemed to drift out of the game completely. Suppose that's down to his lack of fitness.

If we can get him fit, and keep him fit, he can be a huge player for Celtic.

Yeah he just ran out of steam.

I think he has what it takes to play centrally actually, he passing and moving is head and shooders above the rest of our team tonight

Aye, i've said many time's he's our most intelligent player since Hooper at touch/passing/moving etc at the right times and linking-up with players is better than others like Stokes, Commons, Griffiths, Samaras, Boerrigter or others who take to many touches, too greedy, dont control the ball quick enough or things like that, Forrest movement and timing of movement and passing and that has always been good if others around him can pull it off, he always played really well with Hooper as they were on the same level like that.

I much prefer him using his pace out wide to commit someone then cut inside and play quick passes then with more space.

I think if he was perpetually in the middle it would quell that lightning burst he has.

He was our only player first half, second half faded badly. That's too be expected with how long he's been out though.

Good to see us easing him back in though, because he's a big * plus when he's on form.

As has been already said, was our best player first half. Then faded out as soon as the second half started, another player that will be really important to our team if he can keep fit.
