Aye just checked contract expires in 2016. Hope we offer him a new deal and then at least we are in position to command a fee next summer if he flops this season.

I don't think so at all, to be honest.

He could still be a good, useful asset for us but I could never see him being a top player. Too many flaws in his game and he's also not 'wee Jamesy' anymore at 24, so will need to sort himself sharpish.

    Massive season for him.

Even at 24 he needs a big season or he can forget playing at a high level.

If he has a virtually injury free season and makes an impact when used we could have a player approaching his prime and he could be a massive for us.

With a bit of luck you'll see the player we all know is there.

I remember us all saying this last year too. I hope he has a great season and stays injury free as there is a good player in there. Seems Ronny and his team have finally got his injuries sorted.

    Pish tonight.

I don't like him, goes hiding far too often.

    Poor game.

2 decent balls in for Ciftci were his highlight.

I was gutted GMS pulled up in the run up to the game, honestly think he would have made a massive difference.

At his best when he stays wide and running at the full backs. Tonight, I can only assume he was asked to come inside as often as he did, to allow the overlap from Lustig.

    He always comes inside though.

I think that's the main problem with him.

Forrest has another poor game. Did nothing of note and wasted a lot of crosses because he did not lift his head to make a measured pass. Just randomly crossing into the box.
Never really rated him, and possibly time for him to move on as I don't see a future for him here.

Agree with with wee happy Gary missing last night it showed how much he's our best winger.

feel sorry for wee jamsey but he was shocking last night

Forrest was pish last season and then had a few games near the end of the season where I thought he was coming on to a game but he reverted right back to being pish again last night. He has lost all his directness. I think he's afraid of really opening up and going for it incase he gets injured. Some of his passing last night was shocking as well, three times at least it was straight to the oppisition under no pressure.

He's not very good, is he? This is his 6th season and he's half the player he was in 2010. Would let him move on.

Was hardly firing on all cylinders laat night, but a few glimpses of quality.

Looks like he's bulked up slightly, needs a full proper season of being relatively injury-free, and needs to work more on his footballing intelligence.
