I agree, he is a talented player who can come on and produce the goods when fit.

It was only a season ago GMS was used in the same way at Dundee Utd due to problems with injury, now some Celtic fans are creaming themselves over him. Give James more time under Ronny to work on his game and he could be great for us.

Played ok when he came on with 20 mins to go,so I think your great statement is a little far fetched,he then had his it's ma baw I'm no playing moment which is * embarrassing to say the least,I'll give you yes he scored but he just doesn't do it enough that was his first goal of the season it's now * March ffs,so please forgive me for thinking this wee arm thrower is a waste of a jersey

There was no recognised penalty taker on the pitch, Forest won the penalty and in my books (I would do the same if playing) deserved the chance to convert the penalty, he fluffed it, seen much better players do the same thing. Nothing we should really be dwelling on after a cup final win.

2nd goal this season tbf but granted he is poor. Should never play ahead of Armstrong, GMS or Commons when all fit.

I have always thought it should be the player that gets fouled who get first dibs at the pen and if he does not want it then it goes out to tender.

I think all snailetti is doing is * team mates off with his actions trying to grab goals and pens above everyone else.
He had his chance to shine and got some goals, now he is playing poorly he can wait his turn.

Good finish for goal. Disgraceful penalty miss and attitude before and after. Sums up his contribution imo. He was far from brilliant as some have said.

He was involved in just about everything good we done after he came on.

He was actually one of the best players on the park today even though he only got 20 minutes, certainly he stood out more than others.

I think you are way, way over the top with your praise of him tbh.

    That's just my opinion though.

He scored, won a penalty and was a menace throughout.

I'm not sure what more he could do in 20 minutes really.

Somebody said in the match thread that Broony had the final say.

No idea if it's true or not.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but it looked like Stokes was telling Forrest to take the pen.

It was like a child holding onto his own ball the way Forrest reacted.

His smirk when he missed was disgraceful too.

People are overreacting here. We don't know if we had a designated penalty taker on the pitch when Griffiths and Commons were not on. It doesn't look good now that he missed, but he had a good 20 minutes overall and scored a great goal.

Why bring Broony into the equation ?
Don't you think he has enough pressure on his shoulders ?

Thought he played alright today. Didn't get long but seemed to be up for it and got a goal for his efforts.

Think he had every right to take the penalty. Unfortunately it was *.
