    I'm not picky.
I like him. I hope that Forrest can stay injury free to show Deila what he has too. Last season Forrest was just unlucky with his injuries and illnesses that he picked up and while they weren't obviously his fault I hope he can manage to steer clear of it all this season.

There is a writer called Secret Footballer , I have read one of his books and I have found it very interesting and informative . He also writes a column in the Guardian and I have been told recently that he wrote , when a young footballer goes through a long spell of injuries and illnesses , he is often not injured but has different social and personnel problems , maybe more to do with lifestyle rather than injuries severe enough to stop him playing
I wonder could there be a problem about Forrest social or lifestyle preventing him from playing .

He's injured again, thigh muscle or something. Will be out for a wee while, Deila said he will want him to get fully fit again before playing.

    * worse than Beattie and Maloney for injuries.

Big year for him. If this keeps up any longer, he could find himself long forgotten.

Forrest is definitely as bad for injuries as Beattie and Maloney, and you could bracket Boeriggter up there too I suppose. Forrest has that same stunted growth problem that Maloney had, and I am afraid he is going to be an unreliable constant sick note.

If I remember we were saying the same things last pre-season that it was a big season for him and hopefully he'll remain injury free etc but it's just beyond a joke now. He can't seem to string 3-4 games together, always a wee niggley injuries- frustrating as * because he has showed flashes over the years of being capable of being a excellent player.

unbelievable honestly.. So many of our wingers in recent years have been very injury prone. Maybe it's something we're doing? fitness wise...

Although Forrest came thru the ranks a winger type player is usually an expensive player to buy so the only decent wingers we can afford like Boeriggter come cheaper cos they play about 4 games per season lol

I think he could be a great player if only he could stay fit and in the team. I'm not too bothered about last season because he more than paid his wages with the goal against shakther karagandy that got us into the CL.

I do think that his development is suffering because he hasn't been injury free enough to progress to the next level.

I think ronnie will sort him out. I liked the comment about going slow on him. As soon as his injury was a bit better lennon flung him on against big teams, then hes out again for months.
